I think the players also exist in a bubble away from those things to an extent as well.

Whitlock and Tredrea sounded very chummy on the radio post-game last Friday, it seems they've played a bit of golf together this year and sounded well-acquainted, private jokes etc.

That would go against the grain of Tredrea's current battles with the administration and formerly, Ken.
I listened to that interview, Whitlock said they'd played golf at an event in the preseason - that he'd had a few golf lessons since then - they obvs hadn't played again. I thought it was telling that they had a golf event and Tredrea got relegated to playing with the third draft pick. I really liked what Whitlock said about putting on some size in the preseason and that he'd be heading straight to the gym.

There are 5 other teams in finals too?

at one point there was mention of a vic based coach.

of course a freo coach would also fill the finalist condition

Andy Otten as defensive coach maybe.

David Mackay?

Just throwing out some names of guys with previous links to SA that might want to come back to Adelaide.

Telling? Relegated? Are you Caro?

Maybe they just paired him with Whitlock because he could tell him a thing or two about being a KPF.

Absolutely. Having Whitlock spend some time with one of the best KPF's around and with strong ties to the club sounds like an excellent move. Not sure why there would be any question about it.

Only Expat with his Tredrea issues could have that take on one of the greatest forwards of the modern era spending time with a young KPF.

Interesting way to look at it, others might look at it as a deliberate pairing of our greatest AFL key forward with a draftee tall who plays the same position.

The fact that Carr is resilient enough to let Tredrea talk to our key forwards is a fantastic change for the club and a good sign for his coaching process.
Definitely! Didn't Ken & co continually reject Jay Schulz's offer to assist with goalkicking?

so are we looking at a geelong, collingwood or hawthorn assistant that’s got no ties to port but ties to SA or Carr ?
I'm thinking it could be Joel Corey freos midfield coach.
After he retired from geelong he went to the bulldogs with bevo as an assistant then went to Freo the same time carr did and worked with Carr there not sure what line he coached. When carr left freo he took over as midfield coach. He is well regarded.

He would be a good get IMO.

Does Jade Rawlings have any connection with SA from his time as Norwood coach, to want to return back here?

Wouldnt be surprised if we see a bit more of Darren Cahill doing stuff at Alberton given he is reducing his involvement with Sinner.

And by a bit I mean a bit, which compared to Hinkley's pants wetting is a lot.

Has raptalia logged on to your account? It was a pre-season event. So it occured during Hinkley's reign.

Cahil back in as an employee would be brilliant. He’s a winner.

Also might help us juice the boys up so they look like footballers.

Darren wont be doing that.

He has done a bit of work with the women's program after he stepped down from the board.

Clearly Lauren Arnell is not an insecure twat like Kenny.
The Cahills and Phillips are close. Erin talked to Darren about helping out, she ran it passed Lauren, and Bob's your uncle.

Matthew Carr in to replace Jordan Hinkley.

Sinner keeps getting caught though. And that takes some doing if you are a star tennis player because they protect their own.
