I'm in.
You can have Reg's if you get him to agree and I win.
I've got one already.
AFL Integrity Unit discovering the meaning of Integrity is also something I'm prepared to run a book on.
Just not in direct competition with Ladbrokes and Bet365:rolleyes:
I'd still want successful prosecution as the marker.
Although I'd prolly pay up on Hird declaring moral bankruptcy.

"JESSE Hogan should consider whether a move to Fremantle would inflame his troublesome back problems and cut short his career, according to two former West Coast stars. Glen Jakovich and Scott Cummings said there was no doubt the regular eight-hour round trip from Perth to the east coast had a significant impact on players’ bodies. Cummings said his back was “now shot” and believed that the constant flying curtailed careers. “There’s no doubt that flying takes its toll and if he (Hogan) is looking at a 10-year deal, it is a big risk,” Cummings said. “It can definitely take years off your career, whether it is 20 games or 40 games or whatever it is hard to assess. “But 10 years is a long time to be flying backwards and forwards across the country every two weeks and it would have an impact on his body. “I had three years at West Coast and two at Port Adelaide and my back is now shot. It is stuffed. “If I don’t fly business I’m very stiff and sore when I get off the plane. “It is definitely something Jesse would have to weigh up and he would probably have to have written into his deal (at Fremantle) that he only flies business, because he would have to.”

Um Scott, I reckon there might possibly be another factor in play here...

Pav is a unique worshippable God, in all fairness.

Correct, but he has shown that with a professional approach to your preparation and recovery it really is possible to have an extended career.

Can't see Hogan be here , the more talk here BF the less chance we getting him.

"3 years of flying once a fortnight for half a year when I played for WCE and my backs stuffed... probably the planes fault. Don't go to Freo or it'll happen to you too."

Neck a fat one you disgusting, overweight slob.

What was the season length back then? 22 plus finals? He flew probably less than 40 flights in that time. People do more than that for everyday office jobs...

I bet it's coming. Then some bullshit ruling, like nah not tanking but excluded from PSD this year. Like the Melbourne ruling, not tanking, but half a million dollar fine.
Who will be the 2016 Fabian Francis...

Lol I've never seen a more obvious attempt and at hoping Jesse doesn't come to Freo and being a sook about it. But they wouldn't say no to him at WCE though.

Pav getting to 350 really dispels the whole myth of travel cutting your career short.

I wonder how he explains a 211cm giant travelling in economy every 2 weeks for over 10 years. I also think freo have worked to mitigate against such bs in the former of their new training facility which they could show prospective recruits and given its reported world class standard it should help to dispell any bulldust from Cummings or player managers.

Can't be bothered try to get round their paywall, but it sound like more in depth, well researched sporting journalism from The Hun.
Maybe spoke to 2 of the games intellectual giants and engaged in extensive speculative bullshitting with bias...
Was it Slobbo??

I wouldn't say it dispels the myth. Out of 2 WA clubs over 20-30 years only 1 player has cracked 300 games.

Sure flying takes it's toll but if these guys were professionals, as Pav is, they can prolong their career as much as any body.
