He was totally irrelevant from the opening bounce today. Looked unfit and uninterested.

Its good for North to be able to put this game in the rear view mirror. Theres a lot of attention on one player who at this point in time, is a good honest battler who has the potential to be an A grader if he gets his act together.

If you look at the mega trade as whole now, after a few years of service for each player involved, all teams would be pretty happy, but North have clearly done the best out of the trade by acquiring Sheezel, Wardlaw and Goad, who internally is rated through the roof.

What does this mean - healthy heart, liver, brain etc.?

Funny he probably would of looked a million bucks in our midfield today, Xerri dominated the ruck after half time.
Was strangely unsighted I'll admit in other encounters he has caused us some issues.

Sheezel is a squib. Never won a hard ball in his life. Weird that North supporters have such a hard on over him.
Post at 2 AM - sounds like your 10 king browns in and talking gibberish. Bevo would snap him up in a heart beat. Jog on now Campaigner

Weird post to make after a game where Sheezel's 7 contested possessions would have been good enough for 4th best for the Power.

Because he's got a baby Jewish cherub face with rosie cheeks?

Sheezel is as tough as any other young mid, he always goes, he wins his own hard ball and I've seen 10+ times where he's stood under a hospital ball and get smashed without shirking it. Not once have I ever seen him look or even contemplate looking.

He's regularly on the bottom of packs and leads North in most of the defensive pressure stats through the middle.

Even Luke Parker had a look running back with the flight on the weekend.

I have no idea if it's just the Daicos "style by association", who does genuinely shirk it multiple times a game, but it's a borderline weird stereotype he gets among opposition fans and media.

I can only assume it's because of how he looks. Which is bordering on racial stereotyping...

Sheezel is a smooth moving and elegant player, it doesn’t make him soft. Just like Pendlebury or Sam Mitchell weren’t soft.

I never heard these two described as soft and Sheezel averages more clearances and the same CP% ratios as both of them, at 21…So I can only assume it’s because he physically looks different to past players..

Still goes missing for too long in games.

Had a bright start and then did some things at the end, but for most of Q2 and 3 (when Port were seriously being challenged), he was virtually a non-entity.

Needs to consistently turn his 'bursts' into sustained output to truly be considered a great player.

He doesn't have much of a tank
Career seems to be plateauing

This

He also doesnt appear to have the mental toughness either. I think his career trajectory is similar to Jordan De Goey in the long run. A midfielder who spends most of his time up forward because his body wont let him play midfield

He virtually did 1 week of preseason so anyone expecting him to have his tank and fitness to a game day level is ignoring what a terrible PS he endured due to his foot injury last year.
