North fans are understandably grumpy this morning, but their team blew a 41 point lead mid way through the game. No point complaining about umpires, rain or roofs being closed. North had Geelong by the proverbials and lost their grip on the game. The Bartel 50 was there, it is every day of the week. North have had two close losses and they will beat Sydney next week. Geelong on the other hand cannot continue this run of poor starts which plagued them last season.

I'm much more grumpy about the bullshit free to Chapman in the last where he was gifted a goal.

I'm still grumpy about the clear mark not paid to Leigh Colbert in the final QTR against Adelaide in a semi final in 1997 that cost us the game and the Crows win the flag! but what the hey? I didn't see Selwood do a lot in the first half, besides watching the Swallow show. Only got into the game after Swallow hurt his leg.

Funny you should raise that considering that Selwood had a problem in the first half and had to go down to the rooms for treatment, after which he then proceeded to have an impact on the game.
