The cringe factor from some of the Crows supporters is just as embarrassing.

It's just a nothing pre-season game. It's better to have players looking great and in form than not, and you'd worry if your team was getting done by 80+ points, but it means nothing.

It's a chance to look at some of the younger guys and give players a run.

Do people really think that Jack Watts is going to kick more goals this year than Josh Jenkins? Really????

If he does, he does, but I wouldn't be using today as any great guide to anything.

Jenkins hasn’t performed in big games for years now. People have had a gutful of him and even though it’s only a trial game people are looking for him to respond as they’re so disappointed with his GF performance.

Both should be treated as depth players & we would be crazy to give either significant games ahead of better younger talent.

I think 1 will make the side because of our injuries or underdone players... but I would be surprised if either plays the majority of the season, unless we have a horror injury run.

The problem with Jenkins is he hasn't looked good at all since the Grand Final. Not in any of the matches he has played in that time.

The bloke gives 110%, there’s no doubting that.. and he got more touches than most today... but when he burns the ball as many times as he does he becomes a massive liability. With so many teams being competitive the game these days can be determined by which side has momentum and momentum can swing off the back of one turnover that sees your opponents get a goal.. and he turns it over more than most.

I like him as a player but can’t see how he’s a long term addition to the team... I just thought he might be bought in to perform a tagging role when required... and, as such, would rather see a younger up and coming player take his position.. Milera, gallucci, Wilson, poholke are just four that instantly come to mind
