I was super impressed with his gut running to get back and help our defenders. His kick that gray smothered and a few of his other kicks not so much.

WW mentioned it earlier, but I think the main problem with his game was that he repeatedly took a little too long to dispose of the ball. Perhaps, he needs to reacquaint himself with the pace of the game? It was the slight delays in disposal that compromised his efficiency, IMO. This should be pretty easy to improve.

Quite good actually.

You don't find many better starting midfields than Gibbs, MCrouch and Sloane. Follow that with a fit Greenwood, BCrouch and CEY. Then we can go to Douglas, Atkins and Betts for a quick burst.

Our midfield torched yours for a half before the cue went in the rack.

Hartigan didn’t play well, but let’s not forget it’s JLT, and he was one of our best in the GF.

Motlop is always in 2nd gear unless its eating in the off season.

If you're familiar with Steven Motlop, that's him all year around.

You looked like you wanted to win, no issues with that at all, but it really didn't matter much. Also, your key midfielders played massive gametime and got touched up most of the day.

The late 90’s??.... try the early 90’s... I used to go watch them and bands like raisin toast, slingshot, clowns of decadence, the birdmen in the very early 90’s at lennies and other venues down the bay... went to school with a lot of the lads that played in many of those bands.
