We have pick 10 in the draft... would Joel Selwood still be around for that pick?

Dunno if he's pacey, and his kicking has been described as solid.bradrowe#32 said:Whatever happens, we need pacy midfielders with skill. Selwood fits that description...
Either way a win win for us.jabso said:There's a bit of buzz about the burger going at as early as #2.

I’d say as well as rather than more than. Add a ruck and we’d get it enough at the stoppages. Personally I would like pacey mids but preferably not outside. You can have player with pace that aren’t receivers.FIGJAM said:That's what you're buying with him, and it's something we need more than pacey outside mids.

Sounds handy but at 10? Personally I don’t think Colin is the oracle and nor does he claim to be but pace is pace and you either have it or you don’t and that should be apparent to any serious watcher such as Colin. There is not point getting pace without ability but we must get some pace into the midfield.Murray said:Wiseby says this of Selwood
"Solid, footy-smart wingman. Lacks real speed and is more of an accumulator of touches. Similar to Crawford"

I was going to post a response to this post, but given that this post will be off topic, and will be in another thread, I will wait for said thread to commence and will post my reply to the new post in the new thread which hasn't yet been posted.vinnie_vegas69 said:I was going to post a reply to this, but I think I'll make a different thread, considering it was going pretty off-topic for a Selwood thread.
