The basic fact is we were beaten to the ball. All the structures and game plans in the world won't help if we can't get our hands on the ball. This wasn't about game plan, other than smothering Kennedy. Adelaide players simply wanted it a lot more. They had their backs to the wall, some great depth and a bunch of good players who weren't getting a chance to shine. They saw their opportunities and took them, led admirably by a captain who was determined not to play two bad games in a row. Hopefully we have the same setup this week and our boys take their chances to shine. They lift at quarter time and/or half-time breaks? That's news to me. It is hard for the leaders on the field to lead their team when the gameplan he sends out week in and week out is absolute dog shit with the ball coming out of the a50 like a pinball. No structure, no good ball movement and piss poor selection. That's Horse's fault not the player's on the field.
