For all the gnashing of Teeth and derogatory remarks the PAFC BF crew give our coaches and Admin staff, they all seem well sort after.
And probably the one that was loved on here, Jarrad Schofield, is unemployed.
I think people just want to give him the chance to redeem him self after being campaignered by the coach for being right

I shall call Sean, 'Clarence' in honour of Clarence Clemons, The Big Man.
As long as he doesn't blow his horn too often. ;) But he can occasionally be master of the universe.

Except for Chad Cornes - did laugh when Kane yesterday said all of Port's staff have been signed up by other AFL clubs, so they aren't as bad as the fans think. Couldn't help but think, why did you leave Chad off the list Kane?

and Schofield was signed up as Subiaco coach over a month ago, where he won 3 flags and lost2 GF's to Freo aligned Peel Thunder, prior to Port signing him up after the 2018 season.

Of course kane wanted us to keep everyone from our worst finish of a season triggered by the **** head hanging around like a bad smell.

Dude wants josh to fail so badly.

Haha yeah all those clubs jumping at Cornes and Hinkley so far.

Doesnt really matter anyway, even if Hinkley and Cornes were good coaches they were past their used by date here, and the players sorely needed some big changes.

But no one is ever arguing Goldsack or Williams or whatever are better than Webster, Reeves and Dew lol.

There is also a case of whether they fit in with what we are trying to do internally, of they dont match - piss em off.

Don’t really like the lateness of these changes.

What the heck is happening?
Its October, the players aren't even at the club at the moment. The draft hasn't even happened. The vast majority of the coaching group is freshly recruited and locked in. And a couple bit players left over from the Hinkley regime are leaving.

Whacha worried about?

It's the lateness of these coaches moving on. Something about the timing irks me.

Lade is a well-respected football tactician, he would be an ideal fit for the role Reeves was going to do before the reshuffle. But I doubt he would move out of his current coaching role to take that on. I've read he's senior assistant at the Bulldogs and Luke Beveridge is always under scrutiny.

He pissed off David King last year so there's that.

Haven’t they already confirmed Hartlett is stepping up to the old reeves role and they now need an SANFL senior coach.

There have been media reports that Port is set to promote Hartlett, but I don't recall anything official. I imagine they are still working through options and want to be able to fill both roles in one announcement.

We seem to be pulling a team together of people with good football pedigrees.

Hard to explain it rationally but it feels very different from the past several years. Like we've gone and found people who excel in particular areas, not just found someone willing to do a job.

Looking forward to the next season to see how this plays out.

I really like seeing us promoting that we are hiring development and skills staff, like a proper professional football club.
