This here is the perfect example of why I can never get my head around older people voting lnp. The day you stop working is the day they consider you trash.
there r people who r moderate conservatives who hate the extreme right getting hold of their party. voting 4 a centrist is a way of changing the direction of the party.

Name a centrist they’ve had in the last 30+ years leading the party? Fightback! (policy) - Wikipedia

They’ve attempted every part of this initial policy from fightback, that is and has never been centrist. It’s pretty much what the party has been with the addition of the religious crackpots recently. It’s not even close to centrist.

The ALP was finally pushed to the closest centrist party this country has. Why? Because it was kicked to the gutter several times and forced to change. It’s pretty much what the Liberal party needs to reinvent itself of it will have bigger issues down the track.

Dumb policy and dumb politics

Pork barrelling is supposed to be something locals wanted wanted.
Lobbying boroondara for more existing parking spaces to be not limited to 2 hours for revenue raising would have been much cheaper

How a bout electric instead of smelly diesel council trucks - including contract council trucks?

Hell spend the cash elsewhere, but people might think whatever that is won’t get delivered either. It was a 2019 promis after all

I don't believe you.
It is a way of continuing the thieving campaigners existence.

Fryzo just wanted to coat tail the successful level crossing removal project which has delivered significant numbers of car parks itself. In the most logical places.
It wanted a piece itself, but what was left over was not logical. The Canterbury Camberwell and Hawthorn parks were a significant distance from the stations, meaning for a significant distance around those stations, it would be quicker to walk from home.
And believe this, here in leafy land we aren’t up for car parks for people from outside to drive in. We ain’t that charitable

Its' not just about Kooyong. It was a rort that was Australia wide. You'll see a letter to a neighbouring council in which Fletcher, at the behest of Wilson, threatened future funding when GE also said the carporking was not justified. Par for the course for this bullying, corrupt, incompetent govt.

If you're seeing LNP ads, the algorithm knows you.
I'm not seeing any ads - should I admit that:think:. I was just following up Pessimistic's comment about him apparently seeing Frydenberg advertising and wondering what that was.

On a more general note, I'm a tad surprised there is party political advertising on BF as I guess if you permit the LNP to run ads presumably you'd also permit the likes of Palmer's crowd too.:sadv1:
