Josh Frydenberg. Out of his depth.

Why? Because I don’t have a bleeding heart of your left wing *********. Always someone else’s fault. Even your left leaning PM is starting to realise he ****ed up. But keep denying
Blames left for always blaming someone else then proceeds to blame Albo for everything.

Albo is a weak gutted dog. Not hard to denounce what happened the steps of the opera house, or any other antisemetic incidents since that happened in Australia. Na let’s acknowledge Hamas I mean Palestin.
Something tells me your friends always stop talking politics when you are around, as you certainly seem rational and level headed.

Albanese should publicly ask Josh to join him in a team for coming up with a strategy for antisemitism.

This way, it takes the political wedge out of it. No more culture wars (unless Josh refuses, then Labor win that culture war)
Josh has experience in government and contacts in, and an inherent understanding of, the Jewish community.

Takes Pauline out of the equation. All the old LNP crusties can stfu.

Might even get some solid results.

But overall it puts the question back on Josh - do you want to work for something better, or is this a re-launch of your political career?
Good call, also puts another question back on him - do you have any practical/workable solutions?

Would've thought a former politician looking to resurrect his career would want to listen to the opinions of their constituents. Not Josh though - he's turned off the comments on his posts on X

It's good that only fifteen people died so Josh can try to rebuild a career that people don't want him in. I guess when you've been groomed to believe you're the chosen one this is normal.

Also this. I'm just kidding when I say Frydenburg is a bloke who'd chase a ten cent piece.

I don’t see Frydenberg’s comments as political opportunism (although it could b seen like that), instead it’s more indicative of how the Jewish community expects the wider community to respond to abhorrent attacks on the Jewish community.

Bondi killings and 27 October were tragic and shouldn’t have occurred 💯, and Australian and State Governments need to tighten up on gun laws and more closely watch radical Islam - but the Jewish community response isn’t about calling for unity, it’s about “us versus them.”

The response to 27 October is Israel wiping out Gaza, starving Palestinian children and killing aid workers, and if you don’t support that then you’re anti-Semitic. Anything less of pro-Israeli means you’re anti-Semitic.

The Israeli government response to 27 October has contributed to the increase in radical Islam globally, and the Israeli government needs to acknowledge it’s currently part of the problem, not the solution. It’s not helping the Jewish community globally

Why was Josh in Sydney, nicely suited up ?.

Sure go to Sydney and pay your respects, but as an ex pollie, he was exactly that, an ex pollie. Why did he front the media ?. Pay your respects and blend into the crowd, why the f...... did the media allow him near the microphone ?.

For whatever Josh's idea was, he's come out looking like he's pushing his political barrow.
