:thumbsu:Some of this mans precision kicking from fullback and general play almost had me getting firm.
One example being the kickout from fullback in the last or third quarter last night that just fell in side the boundary line to Milburn 60 metres out. His left foot is brilliant and he really sures us up in defence.
We missed him last year. Welcome back J HUNT.

Has certainly had a boost of form over the past two games! Keep it up Joshy!

Getting back to some great form. More confident with his disposal and took a couple of very strong contested marks.he along with varcoe, hawkins , Lonergan, Pods, hogan and duncan are making this great side even better with their improvement

Love the kicking. Hopefully it means he's confident in his knee again. Very important to our defence.
Don't know about Josh, but I've definitely got confidence in his knee after seeing him go to ground for a loose ball, then get to his feet while wrestling for the ball with a Lions player - lifting Jonathan Brown up at the same time. :thumbsu:

Right on TMS........How strong is Josh....so powerful.

Do any BF posters imagine what it would be like to run into this guy????

I liked one of the kickouts to Selwood in congestion. Absolute rocket to Selwood 55 out and positioned so that Selwood could take it in front of his eyes but nobody else could get near it.

He's only going to get better and better but already we're seeing what an attacking weapon he can be from kickouts.

He's really stepped up a notch the last few weeks but has consistently done his job all year.

After the knee injury last year he hasn't missed a beat and has free'd up Kelly to move back into the middle. Adds a bit of steel down back and that left cannon of his ain't half bad either.

Opposition players must see those draw strings dangling in front of them, shit themselves and brace for the mac truck about to hit.

Go Joshy

Was superb tonight as a defender but his main value lies with his kicking-in. Despite conceding 20 behinds I thought our kick-ins tonight were the best i've seen for a long time, mainly thanks to Joshy.

Very important player. Love the hardness, love the kick ins, love knowing he'll rarely miss a target.

Frees up Kelly too which is great.

Josh has really played some consistent footy this year.

Spot on. Sitting in the KRock commentary box last year has give him some insights and hunger

You can see it hurt him missing out on the flag last year. He looks like a man possessed when he's chasing the ball, and he's lifted his pressure and gut running a lot this season. One of my favourites.

He has been pretty good this year but still prone to the odd brain fade which often costs us a goal and is a bit slow on the faster small forwards. But overall in our best 22

I think a great inclusion after losing Harley. He is getting better each week and will be an important player for us in the finals I think. His penetrating left kick outs and field kicking could be a good weapon for us.

I can't believe someone built like him plays AFL football!

You'd think he was too BIG but he does OK :)

What did he do to his ankle BTW? Heard Bomber Thompson say it was nothing but he was limping pretty bad.....as was Chappy! Couple of canditates for a rest coming up?

Wouldnt hurt to give him credit.

He's probably been our best player over the past 6 weeks.

Yeah nice toast.. No players get it right all the time, even Gaz. How can you knock his defensive ability?

I think a great inclusion after losing Harley.

I dont think Harley ever compromised Hunt's spot. Apart from a patch in '07 when Thompson didnt like a couple of specifics he has been in the best 22 for 6 years.

Has a great attitude towards the game and rarely gets beaten by small forwards that cut up other sides.

I've been flying the flag for years and am very proud of how he's applied himself post ACL.
