So why isn't he permanent full forward? And not all over the paddock like a mad womans you know what.

Play him in his preferred position (which he stated on 60 seconds with Pav last night)...and leave him there to learn his craft against the big boys....and reap the benefits in the years to come.

Hope that tally is at least 26 goals 4 in mondays stats.

His contested marking has been lacking up until the last few games but he seems to have made great strides there since the Bombres game.

Before then , I don;t think he had ever taken a contested mark.

There were parts of his game that the match committee were not happy with, but he seems to have addressed them.

Certainly a great kick for goal when he gets it.

First off..

1.) Wizard...if you do your maths we are asking for the same thing.

2.) Rip..If he hadn't taken a contested mark in the AFL...I would agree. But he has taken a couple, and playing in the backline is a hell of a difference from being a leading forward. Yes..its all part of the education but the required skills are very different.
But he has taken plenty in the WAFL. If the kid was played in positition we would have seen that goal tally being a whole lot more impressive i believe.

Quick, skillful delivery, combined with a FF who knows where to lead and how to kick straight will kick a lot more goals in the long run than a specky high flyer.
