Kade Simpson: A record?

Not trolling by bumping this thread. It does give a fair indication about how easy it is to write someone off. The importance of physical development and an apprenticeship in the VFL can not be underestimated when it comes to later draft picks.

I think it is safe to say that Simpson has made it at AFL level. How far he makes it is up to him.

I always use this guy's first 3 games to argue with blues supporters.

They say that 'Walker is better than Wells, he had 26 touches on his debut, how many did Wells get?'

I tell them 'how many did Simpson get in his first game....or second...or third?'

Shuts them up.

Difference is troll, that Wells was picked up at no 2 and hasn't performed to the level expected and is a bit of a reciever, never puts his body on the line. Same can't be said about Simpson.

Simpson has had a better season this year than Wells. Been one of Carlton's best and is ahead of Wells in almost every stat (even though stats don't mean too much). Been much more consistent than Wells this season - pretty good effort for someone who's played 40 less games. Not to mention he was picked up at 45 while Wells was picked at 2.

But I just find it funny Carlton fans are bagging Wells.

Maybe we're bagging Wells because some North trolls thought they should start running their toothless mouths. Only natural that we are going to fire back.

And yes, Simpson has had a much better year than Wells.
