Another terrific game tonight with great disposal and fantastic courage to back into that marking attempt against a charging Drew Petrie.

He just keeps delivering every week, and for that we all love him

Said it before, will say it again. He bleeds more for the jumper than any other player out there (hate the phrase but the way I see it). Have had incredible admiration for him ever since his efforts as acting captain back in the darkest days of 2007.

See post above how highly I regard him as captain, but yeah, nah. Judd's captain for as long as he wants it, title or not.

Simmo was absolutely superb tonight. One of his best games in the navy blue. He's the sort of guy who would die for the jumper, and that was shown in his gutsy effort to take a mark in front of Petrie. Not to mention his durability is amazing. Loved Simmo's work

When we got Judd and were picking a captain, Simpson was my first nomination. Over Judd too. Glad there are others with a similar line of thinking.

He's a tiny frame but you wouldn't know it the way he crashes packs and how he has the courage of a lion.

As much as I love Judd, it's a bit of a shame that guys like Simpson, Scotland (and Fev, for that matter) will likely retire without a B&F to their name. Given so much to the club in our darkest years.

Great game last night - but imo one area he can/needs to improve is his kicking at goal. Has missed some straight forward shots at goal.
