Kane Tenace training with us?

Forget about confirming.... is there anyone out there able to deny this?

Saw Tenace at training yesterday along with Mitch Thorpe. Blease, Warnock, Jurrah, Wona and Watts did light work then went swimming.
Bartram still can't kick. Watts has bulked up and is gradually developing into a man's body. Very impressive.

LOL @ Bartram:D

Tenace to me is just a Simon Buckley. Cant see us picking him up when we have just let a younger version of him go

That excites me..

(Bartram should have been delisted before Valenti and Meeson imo).

Where were they training? I may have seem them too. Has Blease added any weight at all, or is he still a stick?

Bartram should no where near be delisted, he give's his all everyweek. He even played just after his father had died, if that ain't passion then I dunno what is. He loves the club, and we should love him back for his efforts.

It's possible that the footy department view him as a potential solution to our lack of pace through the midfield. However, his shi.t kicking is a major detractor and unless he rectifies this deficiency then it's probably a no.

Maybe worth a spot on our rookie list if he can get his kicking together.

There aren't any as we only freed up 2 spots and are now obligated to rookie Meesen and Newton.

PFFT we aint obligated to do anything. Melbourne delisted Newton already, thus cutting his contract short, and having to pay his contract out. Unless he THOROUGHLY improves before the rookie draft, there is no chance in hell we are keeping him.
One hopes anyway... he had only a year left, if the whole point was to rookie him... just freaking dumb, we are doing debt demolition to get rid of the debt, paying people off aint helping...

They train at Casey on Mon, Wed and Fri at 8-30am for 110mins. They won't be there on Dec 7 because wthey will be looking over the new facility next to the G.
You may not have seen them because the rehab group usually do some light warm-up work on the field and then head over to the aquatic centre at about 9-15.
Blease has done minimal training and does not appear to have put on any weight. He has a 15cm scare going down the middle of his leg towards the ankle. He seemed o/k and will be eased into training. A mate of mine took him to a medical/hospital appointment in a patient transport vehicle (2 month ago) and he told me this kid does not lack confidence. He told my mate who he was and that when he gets right, no one will be able to catch him.
Juice was at training and actually did some nice things however, I did not see Meeson with the rest of the rehab group. May well be an oversight on my part.

Cheers for the insight:thumbsu:

No we have delisted him and are obligated to pick him in the rookie draft. We have not paid him out. If someone else picks him we won't have to pay him. If they don't we will pick him and pay him the value of his contract but he will be a rookie. The advantages are that instead of 2 rookie picks, between Meesen and Newton we now have pick 50 and PSD1 and whoever we pick with those picks can step into AFL if they are good enough.

I was under the impression that if another club picked up either Meeson or Newton then they would just have to pay them the rookie minimum and Melbourne would have to make up the difference between that and the contract they were on.

For example, say the rookie minimum is 40k per year and Newton was on 100k at the demons. If another club picked up Newton they would pay him 40k and we would pay him 60k for the duration of his contract with Melbourne, which is think ends next year.

Okay, I didn't see them, I was in a totally different place, must've seen just a bunch of guys going for a run.

And yeah, I wasn't expecting anything from Blease right now.
