There might be someone else who knows but don't have that information.

Roos does like his power guys.

Durdin is an obvious selection as a key defender if Frawley goes. Even if he stays he's an option.

Roos likes his strong bodies and Bradyshaw is a strong body at 184cm, 83kg last year. Probably put on more size over the Summer.

Worth noting clubs are from now going to put a greater weighting on endurance and pace with the way the game is going. That's why guys like Dunstan and Crouch specifically last year dropped much further than they should have as guys who in my view both should have been top 10 selections. It will be interesting to see if clubs continue to go more for guys who can run as opposed to the absolute best performed competitors who have the numbers to support their cases.

Hey KM, I was very rude in not acknowledging your early season analysis of this years potential draftees.

On Brayshaw, what is his aerobic capacity like?
I think from memory he was training with Melbourne this pre season as part of the AIS program too?

Endurance is above average and will get to just about every contest. He's not an athlete but inside the contest he makes up for it with his smarts - as with many of those better inside types he just seems to react quicker which makes him such an effective inside ball winner and tackler.

jarrads not like any other indigenous kid that have created the negative stereotype, the kid is on another level with his pace skills and natural ability, also has a really good head on his shoulders and is from a really good nice family. Will go very high
I know he can play. I love him as a player. Probably my favourite in this draft along with Durdin. It's not the indigenous stereotype that I think pushes him down. It's more the sub-180cm part. Stephen Hill and Harley Bennell both went high but both are above 6ft. Guys like Prestia/Rioli/Kennedy all went outside top 10. Prestia may have gone at exactly pick 10?

The kid truely is on another level. I struggle to think of him as a bust in the AFL.

I would love for gws to grab the best small forward for our first pick. Who is the best small forward in this draft?

As a pure small forward there is no one standout. A number of guys who can swing forward but most of the smalls are more midfielders.

A Jake Johnson late draft as a super small might be an example of someone you could look at. Perhaps someone else develops this year.

Hey KM, love your work as always. Just a quick question about a 2015 prospect.

What do you know about Tom Wallis at this stage? What would his draft profile suggest? Aso what size is he at currently?

Cheers in advance

And who'd be the top prospects for the 2015 Draft?

Well Moore has started very well in the TAC Cup. He would have to go up in your Ratings

It is a good start to the season so he does have that opportunity to rocket up my ratings.

It's just great to see Darcy healthy and playing strong football. The past year and a half he's been poor in the TAC and hasn't really experienced any success since the u16 champs so it's good progress and I'm looking forward to his continued development.

And who'd be the top prospects for the 2015 Draft?

Joshua Dunkley (son of Andrew - Sydney) I think is 2015 eligable? If so he'd be one to look out for. Rhys Mathieson and Darcy Tucker look like other top picks.

Need to see more of Wallis before I make a call on him.

Well according to paige last year he was just getting himself right so he could attack this season at 100%

St Kilda would love nothing more then Sam Durdin id think
I like the sound of Durdin a lot, but if he's as good as he sounds like he is, I'm thinking Peter Wright is the one we'd really want the most, if we had our choice of the lot.

Aside from the fact that he might be the best of the draft crop, Wright would give us the size we need up forward to compliment the likes of Lee and hopefully Spencer White going forward and if he turned out as good as you'd hope he'd be, it would then mean we could potentially look to trade one of Hickey or Longer in a few years time, as they, like McEvoy and Hickey last year, both look best suited to the ruck, rather than up forward, so we won't necessarily need both of them long term. It would be great to have someone up there who was over 200cm tall who was both very good up forward AND in the ruck, and unless Stanley really steps up and succeeds in that role, someone like Wright could be ideal in it and in a couple of years time we might be able to get something good in return for a Hickey/Longer, just as they're entering their prime years, like we did with Mac last year.

Having someone like Durdin who can potentially swing from one end to the other like a Ben Reid, Harry Taylor, or Jake Carlisle, would be damn handy though and I have a feeling in my bones that he's the one we're going to end up with at the end of the year.

I've watched him play for the last 4 years. He was emergency for the Cannons last week.

Can kick off both feet, has silky skills makes good decisions and goes most of the day. Has figured in Douttas B & F for those last 4 years too. He's a gun IMO.

Just a quick review of how the WA draft prospects from went from Rnd 1:
*South Fremantle:
-Matthew Ah Siu was listed as second best on ground but could have very easily been best. I had a friend at this game and he was very impressed with his game. He racked up 28 touches and kicked 3 goals in a very dominating game. He seems to be playing midfield now and his pressure on the ball is much better then last year.
-Jarrod Pickett had plenty of the footy with 26 touches and showed why he is so highly rated. His ability to break tackles and run with the ball is unrivaled in this draft. His speed was too much for Subiaco and he played very well.
-Callum Ah Chee was listed as best on ground in Rnd 1. Normally I will not talk about 2015 draft prospects but this kid was on another level. When South were down and looking like losing the game this kid and Ah Siu kept that squad alive. He had 27 and showed why this kid is WA's brightest prospect for 2015.

*Subiaco
-Greg Clark another 2015 prospect who deserves recognition. He was Subiaco's best with 21 and was very impressive. Subiaco should use this kid more as he very rarely lost a contest. His courage to attack the bigger bodies was also a highlight for the weekend. Watch out for this kid in the future, he has natural footballer written all over him.

*Perth
-Clem Smith played league this week for the demons and from all reports held his own. His 13 disposals are below numbers he is capable of but still a strong showing from Clem. Given more time in league this kid will dominate games and better prepare him for the 18's carnival. The next couple of weeks will show whether his height will be a factor in his football career.

*Peel
-Bradley Walsh racked up 26 and kicked a goal in his sides loss at the hands of East Perth. Brad should really be playing reserves or league because he did look like a boy amongst men. Brad will look to put in more strong performances like this and prove why myself and other WAFL followers rate him so highly.
-Dylan Winton showed why he is one of the better backmen in this years draft. His ability to find the footy was good and displayed a great rebounding ability. Like Walsh, Winton will probably play more Reserves and even League games as the season goes on, the experience against bigger bodies will be very important for this star.

*East Perth
-Tyler Keitel was instrumental in his sides win over Peel. They looked for him and more often then not he delivered. He kicked 4 and was named best on but look for better things from this kid as he appears intent on carrying his side to victory. He also showed great on field leadership which is always good to see in a bright young prospect.

*Claremont
-Ryan Lim had 24 and showed why he is gonna be a dark horse come draft day. His outside run is amazing and he looked fitter then most on the ground. I'm hoping for big things from this kid and I think he will deliver.
-Alec Waterman had 25 but most Claremont players appeared to rack up the touches aswell. I didn't get much of a report on Alec but I will going to watch him next week so I can report more.
-Sam Bevan was listed in the best for Claremont but like Waterman I didn't get much of a report on him. Usually though he dominates whatever tall goes to him so I'd expect he did the same on the weekend.

I would have thought Mitch Norton from the Jets would be the best small forward in the TAC, top 3 in the goal-kicking mid season last year as a bottom age before needing a shoulder reconstruction. Just back in the last 3 weeks, 2 goals against the Cannons on the weekend despite only playing a half on the forward line. Would still back him to kick 40 goals this year, even though he will spend most of his time as an on-baller.

Im going to guess he is related to port adelaide's brendon ah chee as he was also drafted from south fremantle. brendon is 188cm and a great size for football and an interesting prospect so will watch out for callum in the future.

Hey KM what do you think of young Harry Dear which could be picked up by hawks as father son Paul Dear's son. Where would you place I'm at the moment could he improve a lot this year.

Knightmare, what do you think of the draft talent out of Ballarat Rebels this year?
I know they played alot of their kids as bottom age players last year, I imagine that will help them this year.

Brothers.

KM -Love your work.

What kind of player do you really see the Bulldogs prioritising with their first pick and who is it likely to be given we are likely to have a pick in the 3-7 range?

Cheers

After seeing the Demons issues with their talls at the moment I can see why the list managers say you can't have enough if they are quality. So I do not think the Demons will have any qualms drafting a tall if he is best available at their pick which will likely be 1 - 3 this season.
GWS will be sniffing around those early picks again (and probably 2015 as well) given the amount of talent they have in the Bank. Also it gives them a chance to spread their age profile out with 'the best' talent available to prolong any stay at the top they may enjoy later on.
