Buddy is simply lucky he clipped the bloke and didn't make solid contact. Difference between 1 and 4 weeks

Jesus.
What more can the AFL do for their sweethearts.
Humorous O'Keefe also got off as well.
But a Big loss for football. Soon the players will stop tackling hard and it will take away from the spectacle of the game.Hard to understand but OP should be happy as Kosi out is a huge win for St Kilda.
But if Duncan was Ko'd - how come he came back on too the field?
Concussion = you're done.
So I don't understand?
Neither should have been cited for what are simply great tackles, these knobs are ruining the game ffs
Should have copped 4 or 5 based on Trengove's. Deserved more.
Instead of attacking Geelong why not attack the real problem, the idiotic AFL rules and MRP. .
Meanwhile Diver Franklin is getting 1 week for intentionally smashing someone in the head.
But thats the rule lol.The reason he came back on was because he was the sub in the first place, and was activated when Bartel got KO'd by Pods.
If he was to stay off, we'd have been down to two players on the bench for two and a half quarters.
As it was, we ended up with no fit players on the bench since both Milburn and Kelly both picked up leg injuries, and both were played deep in the forward line in the last term so our midfielders could have a spell.
If every player who gets KO'd has to spend the rest of the game on the bench, why wouldn't a club recruit an ex-boxer, pop them in the centre and tell them to KO the opposition ruckman and on-ballers before the opening bounce? Voila, there goes the opposition's bench, and since the guy's not a footballer, you wouldn't care about how many weeks he gets.
OP is spot on.
if kozi was a collingwood, wce, gc, adelaide or essendon player he would have got a free kick for holding the ball and wouldnt even be cited.
Everyone was on notice after the Trengove tackle, and I'm not sure how you can do the same thing a month later and nothing comes of it for one player, but two others get weeks, unless of course, we're going to give every player that's not yet slung a bloke the opportunity to get one free attempt at doing it.
Maybe you should read the classifications? Corey's was dealt with almost exactly as Kosi's, Kosi has a shit record, Corey has a good one.
Sick of ignorant posters complaining about tribunal decisions with no knowledge of why.
'One bloke gets weeks, the other gets off!' is just wrong.
What you mean "almost exactly"? One or the other. Coreys was the worst tackle by far (slammed the guys upper body far more visciously into the turf), then Mumford then Kosi...who looked pretty close to a normal tackle
Kosi tackled Duncan while he was in possession of the ball. Duncan didn't lose the ball in the tackle. Kosi didn't pin the arms in. He took the ball carrier to ground in a tackle... and he has copped 2 weeks.
He shouldn't have been reported, nor should Corey, nor Mumford against Ablett a couple of seasons ago, nor Mumford this weekend, nor Trengrove at the start of the year.
Tackling should not be a reportable offence!
