Thats garbage. Why would Lappin go to a club who are going to be rebuilding for the next 5 years and sacrifice more success with Brisbane?

Where's Lappin originally from...Southport? Nope.

Does he have a relative already playing at Carlton? Yep.

Would be extremely surprised if this rumour eventuated.

Lappin's what? 28?

Any 28-year-old going to Carlton is an absolute fool.
Or satisfied with his career achievements, thinking of heading home and eager to top up the retirement fund.

Just doin it for money? Oh surely not? Didn't he support Carlton as a child, and always dreamed of playing for the Blues?

Surely he would be a mercenary? Would he?

No, not a mercenary. Just horribly homesick, with Carlton being a club he's always admired for their tradition of success and professionalism.

Carlton will have one of the strongest midfields in the comp.

Lappin, Scotland:confused: Camporeale, Kouta and Kade Simpson:D

Some people seem to very quickly forget that Carlton are the competition's most successful footy club.

Heard from Patrick Smyth on sport927 that Carlton are now the AFL dud's dumping ground. Ha. Yeah rr-r-r-r-right.

Lonie from 50 give Kade Simpson another eighteen months & you will regret your sarcastic jibe at his expense. In a Collingwood website review of Williamstown's game against the Northern Bullants this year Simpson was the only Carlton listed player who recieved a positive review. So it seems a Collingwood supporter who knows a hell of a lot more about football than you rates Kade Simpson.;)

There's got to be a line here somewhere, but it would probably set Deej off again if anyone said it...

from experience of carlton supportsers i have found the following

1) Live in the past

2) Stick up for there team even when there is nothing to stick up about

and 3) this is what i have only heard from a handful, but they think they got smashed by 100 n sumthin points bye north was becuz they didnt want to be injured

:p hmmmm

If Lappin joins his cuz at Princes Park I WILL shed my pants and walk bacwards up the Bourke St hill in a stooped position.:D

I think the question is why would Carlton want Lappin? He's a great player, but run with players are a dime a dozen at the moment and he'll need the rest of the team to win the ball for him to be any use.

And a 28 year old with a dodgy leg, cracked ribs and a punctured lung is not exactly the most stable investment for any team.

And he still gave Collingwood a bath. Seriously though I would be suprised if he ended up at Carlton. By the same token I would not knock him back if the price was right.

And you came on the Blues board impersonating a Blues fan when you arrived here. Your credibility is zero. Better change your username.
