Late Change Expected

Seems both Miller and Warnock were absent from the Casey side yesterday.

Demonology is reporting it may be Frawley that is in doubt, I dearly hope not.

this thread stinks, Frawley isnt replacable.. but thats what we need depth for and if Warnock can do the job on one of their forwards we can only be happy our list is in the best shape in years.

I think it could be Joel Mac. He took a nasty knock against Richmond last week. If it's Frawley, then our odds just blew out majorly. I'd go as far to say we cannot win without him in the side today. If Frawley is out, our midfield would have to smash Hawthorn's, and I can't see that happening.

I don't plan on drinking at todays game, but if i get to the game and find Frawley is out of the side, then i will go staright to the bar...

I read the title of this thread hoping it would be about the weather :(

Frawley out would be massive, but Crusty Demon you might be onto something. TBH i was surprised that Joel Mac finished the game last week, he looked gone after that crunch

Speaking of which, it does look pretty rainy today.

If Frawley's out, I think it's only fair that Franklin gets withdrawn also. ;)

My mail is that it'll be #8.

F8ck!!!!! any word on what is wrong with him? I hope the players don't think the same as i do thinking we can't win without him. Warnock must come in to take Roughead and Garland to Franklin. I know Garland has played on Buddy and done ok before. We just simply have to win the ball in the middle to have any chance today. No passengers today Dees, don't let us supporters down like that dark day in Round 1....

Shit! This is not the news I wanted to get up to this morning!!!! I agree, against teams without good ruckmen and with good strong forwards, Frawley is surely our most important player... :(

On the plus side, I think we'll do better than expected if it's wet.

CD, I'm with you, wasn't gonna be drinking today, but if Frawley's not there when I show up, I'll see you at the bar...

RE wet weather stretch, what makes you think we'll do better?
I would have thought that a sloppy ball and ground would make it harder for us to use our pace to expose the hawks.
But generally, yes, i always was taught that rain helped the underdog

Mostly just that^ general idea, but specifically it could reduce the effectiveness of their tall fwds and make the midfield battle a bit more even in terms of skills, and Scully seems to love the wet. It might widen the gap in the midfield in terms of big bodies v smaller bodies though...

We've played pretty well in the rain this year, too.

Didn't play that well in the Carlton game...

If its wet it will be a smashing. That said if it pours then Buddy and Roughie will not be as effective in the air. Will help Garland no end.

we did when it was raining. game was over pours down in the 3rd quarter and we got back in it

Miller did play yesterday, and Warnock is the emergency on standby like any other week.
Nothing to see here folks.

What is Warnock, chopped liver?

As good as Frawley is, its not the end of the world if he is a late withdrawal.

Warnock is a more than capable backman and is deserving of a spot if you look at his last few weeks at Casey. Bailey would put it on him to have a big game and i would back him to stand up on such an important day for the MFC in terms of our finals aspirations.

No late change according to final team sheets.

Yay Frawley.

Apparently Frawley completed the warm-ups. Here's hoping for a cracker game.

Good news on Frawley.

I wouldn't want to put pressure on a first year player, but I can see Scully playing an absolute blinder today. Playing football in wet weather really takes it out of you, and as the match goes on, I can see Scully's fitness enabling him to dominate.

Don't u know why Warnock or Miller played yesterday? It was because of todays match they didn't know if u guys would have any late withdraws! ust like us our 3 emergencies never played aswell.
