Australian Leeds fans! Member's Club coming to NSW this Summer!

This is an open invitation to come and join the FIRST Official Members Club for NSW in Australia. With promotion to the Championship secure, next season promises to be another roller coaster ride with our beloved team.

We may be thousands of miles away from Elland Road, but you can still show your support for Leeds by becoming an International Member, and also by joining our new NSW Branch of the Members Club. 100% of the membership fee goes to the club, and I will outline some of the benefits below. But most importantly, its about being a part of the club you love, especially as we are all so far away.

We need a minimum of 10 international members to get this off the ground, but if we can can double or triple that, the more the merrier!!

It cost 25 pounds to join (about $40). And, I repeat, this money goes straight to the club. Simply follow the online instructions to join, and then PM me your international membership number, that's it!

In addition to a Leeds scarf, and other bits and pieces, you will get priority booking to any Leeds game, home or away (if you make a trip back to the UK), we will have an official channel direct to the club, one free month of LUTV, discounts on Leeds merchandise via the online store, and we will also be receiving a signed match shirt and ball to raffle off to some lucky members.

But that's not all:

LOCALLY we will be organizing meet-ups for EVERY LIVE Leeds United game this season at our official bar Cheers in Sydney, as well as A-League days out, with trips planned to Newcastle, Gosford, Melbourne, and of course, several games at Sydney FC. I truly believe that there is nothing better than sharing a few beers with fellow Leeds fans, and I want to have as many opportunities as possible to bring Leeds fans together.

We will be having the inaugural meet-up and elections for club officers this Sunday 4th July, so please let me know your availability and preference for then.

We will meet at Cheers Bar on George Street (unless otherwise notified) at 3pm.

So PLEASE, if you are interested, sign up as soon as possible for the membership and email me back with your details, as well as your preference for our members club meeting, and lets KEEP THE WHITE FLAG FLYING HIGH!

ON ON ON!

any questions, comments etc, please drop me a line anytime!

Neill Collins signed from PNE for an undisclosed fee.

Did a good job late in the season while Paddy was out, helping us steady and gain promotion. Experienced at this level and wanted to join the club. Solid signing IMO.
Naylor showed signs of slowing down last year IMO, and going up a level could easily see him exposed. I'd like to think a Kisnorbo/Collins combination will be very solid in the Championship.

First game vs Derby is getting aired on SKY, not 100% sure if Fox Sports is picking it up, The Guide matches the time but says League 1 not Championship.

Ross McCormack completes his move from Cardiff by signing a 3-year deal.

Quite happy with this signing and appears to be a bit of a bargain if the stories are to be believed about the price we've paid.

The squad is looking even better.

Apparently we have signed Adam Clayton (loanee from City, not the U2 bassist) on a permanent.

Another very handy acquisition to add depth to the midfield. Really pleased with the way the squad is looking now.

haha bomber that's a shocker.

Also just read that we have signed Honduras international Ramon Nunez who has been trialling with us for quite some time. 24 year old attacking MF who played in each of his country's games at the World cup.

Also Gavin Rae is close to coming across on a loan.

Some very exciting signings over the past week.

How big is our squad though? Despite loaning out Michalik and severing ties with Sheehan, the squad is still huge. Good luck to SG on keeping them all happy! I'd imagine a few like Grella and White will go out on loan.

Grella is out on loan at Carlisle at the moment, looks like he will sign to extend the loan deal (Saturday is the last game on his current deal).

For me Leeds are too inconsistent to be real promotion contenders at the moment.
The problem seems to be at the back. We look a bit stronger with Andy O'Brien in the back 4 and this situation can only improve if they're able to get Patrick Kisnorbro back in anything like his pre injury form.

I'd expect some clubs to invest in their playing squads in the Jan transfer window & this will have a big effect on final league positions.
If I were a betting man I'd put money on Simon Grayson not having a great deal to spend on players in January (especially if England get the nod from Fifa to host the 2018 WC on Dec the 2nd).

Still nobody said it was going to be easy, fingers crossed that Simon Grayson can work some magic over the rest of the season.

Scoring goals definately isn't the problem for us, and we have more than enough talent in both midfield and forward to cut it. It's just that leaky defense. Here's hoping big Paddy can get back into the team from his injury and shut the gate to the opposition :)
