When are people going to realize what ACTAULLY happened.

He was offered a one year contract.
He wanted two.
We believed his form and injury concerns didn't warrant two.
Fremantle were keen to get him and offered him two years.
He agreed to be traded.



How is that shafting?

From what i have heard, Pavlich will get off, but i have not seen it

I don't think Pavlich will get a week. If they do decide to find him guilty of the striking charge it would probably amount to 2 weeks. However, I don't reckon there's much in it because he has eyes for the ball the whole way.

lets hope they fight the charge and he loses. this would ideally result in a one week suspension.

From what I saw, Pavlich should get a week. It was not malicious but it was definitely careless punching an opponent in the face in a marking contest when approaching him from the front. My suspicion is that they will give him a week but a guilty plea may get him a reprimand. In any case if the head is sacrosant he should not play this week.

Still he smacked him over the head , cant be hitting people in the head now days. Not sure what Pavlich's record is like but i suspect it would be something like a 2 week ban down to 1 week or a 1 week down to a repmirand for a good record.

I rate Ryder highly and I think in years to come he will be a great player but the sensible decision surely would be to play Fletch on Pav? Ryder could be in for a Zac Dawson type day if he plays on Pav.
