As for Ross Lyons inability to coach amd develop. I saw only 2 positives out of freos 2016 season...

We didnt get the spoon and we played some youth.

Happy with the youth Ross Lyon played. Happy with Apeness, Alex Pearce, Blakely! Weller, langdon, Tucker, Hughes and grey getting games.

Pav got some success. He at least got into a grand final despite freo poorly run in the early years. And he did ok in that 2013 gf. His team mates let him down.

Pavs best finals game was that elim final in 2012. looking back... I laugh at your fellow Geelongistan mate poida cat started a stupid thread called "Haha awesome, we get to play the purple p***s

Now I know it's not the prestigious "Glendenning medal!" But what it is - it's what they give the best player on the ground in an afl grand final. Now Pav never got close to one due to the fact he was spineless, ineffective and weak in the GF he contested - so I get that you don't get what a norm smith is. Hope that helps you understand though that players who perform in big games are universally loved and respected way more than soft ***** who go to water in big games.

It's list management time for 12 teams, with the 6 good teams casting one eye across the list management sphere as well.

North cleverly announced they were rebuilding before their final H&A game in a way that was sure to get their troops pumped for the end of the season. It is our responsibility to help them.

Looking at their list, are there any players worth trading for? They desperately need picks so they can start getting some young talent into the club and we know North fans are normally fair-minded judges of talent (rating Gav Urqhuardt over Pendles, or Atley over JJ).

Casting an eye over their list I see that young Wells chap is somehow a free agent.
There's a weird looking third forward who goes missing in finals slightly less than Jack Darling who might be worth a late fourth rounder as well.
Some young HBFer who is involved with a large fast food franchise looks like handy depth, and Chris Tarrent's cousin might develop into an accountable defender.

Anyone else willing to help North by trading for one of their players?
