Jetta has taken a massive step backwards. He's either not working hard enough or he has been worked out.

I think it is a bit of both, teams and players figured out late last year that blocking his space goes a long way in stopping him, and also so far this year he has been lazy no effort, looks disinterested and working hard at all. He is making his taggers look extraordinary due to his lack of work rate

Weapons and gameplans get figured out. That's why coaches always remind us that the team has to improve just to maintain its position.

Big Footy is the most reactionary site I have ever known. Jetta will evolve and improve again.

Take your pick. Both are soft and frontrunners who can't beat a tag. Need to get this out of their games. They lack the will and workrate to beat taggers who can match them for speed.
Hill has improved every year, now almost to a 50/50 split in terms of contested and uncontested possessions, averaging 5 clearances a game. That's Marc Murphy, Joel selwood type levels.

Geez, some people are getting a bit testy on this one.
Good players for comparison though and hard to split both right now at this stage of their careers.

If I had the choice of either for my team though I would still keep Hill. His work rate is getting better and better and has been tagged from day dot and is working his way through beating the hard tag, consistantly improving season after season. At the moment I think there is more upside to Hill but who knows by the end of their respective careers.

Love watch both in full flight though.

I know Jetta has been shit so far this year but I have to say that Hill has not been anything special (great first game though).

Yep great opposition to get him started against one of the worst teams in the comp.

Its more than just opposition (have played GWS and GC)
It was more about his efforts, maybe he got a big head after his 2012 season
He got the kick up the arse when made sub against the saints and played a very good game
Has a test this week against the Hawks

Shit I hope thats not the case.

Totally agree with what you have said and very classy with your reply, glad you didnt get sad about my post.

Hill has the potential to be the more complete player. Jetta is probably more damaging at this stage but I'd still take Hill.
