If Eagles want to be active it very well could happen and in 2024 you could throw a blanket over 10 players touted to go between 3-10

GC would be itching to get ahead of a Lombard pick and that kid is looking like a top 10 pick

Na he's a pick around 8-10 for me. Could be captain of the club as soon as next year and is a two-way running mid-forward who can also play as an elite ground ball mopping small defender.

How likely is a pick 15 going to be good enough to replace him? I'd say **** all chance of that happening.

All the noise is that he goes to West Coast, not Freo anyway. I'm hoping it plays out with WC giving us 3 for Baker and either Brisbane's first or GC's if we can get our hands on them through other deals.

What noise is there he goes to WC out of interest? Still just Ralph from back when?

Are you sure you guys don't expect to much for a Baker type? If roles were reversed and it was Baker wanting to go to Richmond would you part with a Pick 3 in any part of the trade?

WC will not break up 3 (or whatever the pick is) to get him. It's not about not wanting to give up something to get something, it's about sane list building

If he is on about $1m a year for 5 years, he is worth pick 3 every day of the week

If Eagles can trade future pick for pick for 2 top 20 picks and flick one for Baker that could work, then we send other pick to Dogs for Busslinger . Then we hope we finish in that top 10 range so we dont make dicks of ourselves in 2025

Why people still fall the "how much you pay someone is directly correlated to how much trade capital they are worth" fallacy is beyond me.

Teams can have massive amounts of cap space and limited draft capital or vice versa. They are 2 completely different assets.
