He doesn't turn 18 until next month, and I'm sure we'd still have first crack at him if we were interested. He obviously has some talent, but whether or not he's progressed enough to warrant a rookie list spot is the big query.

If he's not yet 18 then we'd still have priority access as an academy product. This would be his 1st year he'd be available as draftees must be 18 as at 31 December of their draft year to qualify for the draft.
