Fevola has really lowered his value with his brownlow stunt, there is risk associated with him and you're not going to get what he would normally be worth.

Fev did a lot more than make an arse of himself on Street Talk. Do you think Carlton would be trading him if they didn't have a very good reason? Clubs don't get rid of players with Fevolas talent to save face, Fevola did something that makes the other players not want him there any more. I think there's speculation in another thread he had a fight with Marc Murphy, I dunno the truth but whatever the reason it would have to be a very serious matter.

Right .... and what does he offer on the positive side to a club currently playing finals? Come on, you can talk it up. What would each current finals side look like with Fev in the side and how much better would their chances be over the next 2-3 years while he is at his peak?

I am not saying he doesn't have those negatives, but when it comes to trading, that's all people talk about to suggest he isn't worth much but when it comes to realistically getting him or getting him, suddenly all of the positives will surface. Where were they before trade week ... who knows?

I'm not saying he wouldn't be a tremendous acquisition, I was saying that there is no way the lions would give up Henderson for him, his worth to a side is unquestionable, however he comes as a risk and will not attract an offer as high as Henderson plus pick 12. apparently it was announced at the brisbane best and fairest tonight that the club would be fevless next year. maybe a brisbanite could confirm this. just seems like the potential suitors aren't exactly plentiful at the moment. obviously we dont know for sure, but the money issue would surely put a strike though most, and fevs age putting some more strikes through developing squads. if there's only one club left, carlton might have to settle for something that isn't ideal, like pick 7. who knows.
