Quality player. Only question is he a more marking forward than crumbing forward with elite defensive pressure.Seems like he has been a very consistent player, highly underrated I feel outside of WCE. He may wish to explore his options. Our midfield and scoring opportunities could allow him to demonstrate his true abilities. Im not against this idea.
At present we don't have any list vacancies, so won't be taking Drury or anyone else.Out of the list supplied by Mutineer I can see the AFC doing AFC things and listing Drury
No, we can't - unless his injury is deemed to be season ending, which is not currently the case.As noted in the last page we could LTI Toby Murray

We can Strachan himNo, we can't - unless his injury is deemed to be season ending, which is not currently the case.
If his diagnosis changes then we could put him on the Inactive List (the LTI list no longer exists), but if there's no change to his diagnosis then our hands are tied.
His current diagnosis is 3 months, which takes him very close to the finals anyway. It's not outside the realms of possibility that they deem it to be season ending anyway. We can Strachan him
You like Penry in his draft year from memory..IF we had had an open list spot, would he be on your radar as a ruck to develop? Some of the profiles for the MSD from the Addy's article

He is being noticed, did a full pre-season with standalone VFL team Port Melbourne and is on their 2025 roster when not required by the GWV Rebels. You like Penry in his draft year from memory..IF we had had an open list spot, would he be on your radar as a ruck to develop?
Well they had better make it their 1st priority to get Lachlan McAndrew locked away pronto because he is an unrestricted free agent at season's end and Draper will play no significant AFL football next year if he comes over......and if ROB walks we'll be stuffed.Btw still in up to our eyeballs for Draper, according to Gettable. Apparently us or Essendon, no-one else
Dude is a Port troll, best to ignore him. Why?
Read somewhere that the aim for Draper is to be back in full AFL training by December? Still, achilles injuries scare me, a lot. Really hope it isn't a bidding war, even if Draper's form was good to start the yearWell they had better make it their 1st priority to get Lachlan McAndrew locked away pronto because he is an unrestricted free agent at season's end and Draper will play no significant AFL football next year if he comes over......and if ROB walks we'll be stuffed.
? Pugsley's never come across as that to meDude is a Port troll, best to ignore him.
He's been as dominant as Harry Boyd in the SANFL and is 3 years younger, wouldn't be too sure about that.Read somewhere that the aim for Draper is to be back in full AFL training by December? I doubt clubs will be going out of their way to lure McAndrew, either way
That's exciting to hear and thankfully different to what I heard. I was told even at SANFL level he was getting pushed out of the contest. He's been as dominant as Harry Boyd in the SANFL and is 3 years younger, wouldn't be too sure about that.
When healthy, is Draper rated in the top 10 ruckman?Btw still in up to our eyeballs for Draper, according to Gettable. Apparently us or Essendon, no-one else
Well Wheelo ratings have him 7th best ruck from his games this year. Don’t trust the sample size though, and a few of those games he played fwd/2nd ruckWhen healthy, is Draper rated in the top 10 ruckman?
? Pugsley's never come across as that to me
O'Brien is in the top 5 for hitouts in 23/24 whereas Draper didn't make the top 20 in both years. I hope we pass on Draper.Well Wheelo ratings have him 7th best ruck from his games this year. Don’t trust the sample size though, and a few of those games he played fwd/2nd ruck
And like I said, Achilles injuries are killers
Even putting the quality of player aside, I personally think he’s more 3rd fwd/2nd ruck than pure first ruck, anywayO'Brien is in the top 5 for hitouts in 23/24 whereas Draper didn't make the top 20 in both years. I hope we pass on Draper.
I'd be interested to know how many repeat Achilles injuries there have been in recent AFL historyRemember when we had concerns over Thilthorpe rucking on a knee - I still have concerns
Imagine having a ruckman with a knee concern and add in one with an achilles
Eek
I'd be more interested in players form returning from achilles injuries?....I'd be interested to know how many repeat Achilles injuries there have been in recent AFL history
