The Dees were apparently working out 2 yrs in late August. If he's on the table, something else must be going on
Maybe he's had enough?

Big bikkies if true. Not sure we are matching that.So Hartlett has been offered stupid money by Richmond, wouldn't blame him going. Especially if we trade some decent picks.
Tredrea said 750k over 5 years and 700k with North for 6 years.
He's not worth anywhere near that.
Just heard that. Would be devastating but couldn't begrudge the kid for leaving. Would be irresponsible for PAFC to go anywhere near matching that.So Hartlett has been offered stupid money by Richmond, wouldn't blame him going. Especially if we trade some decent picks.

Absolutely, that's a cut your losses and move on type of thing.Just heard that. Would be devastating but couldn't begrudge the kid for leaving. Would be irresponsible for PAFC to go anywhere near matching that.
Is he a RFA next year? If so, we are well advised if he is going to go, to trade him this year, otherwise we risk getting diddly for him. Lets just hope he is willing to stay for less.Just heard that. Would be devastating but couldn't begrudge the kid for leaving. Would be irresponsible for PAFC to go anywhere near matching that.
Trade him and go for Bennell!Absolutely, that's a cut your losses and move on type of thing.
Would open up space for a different need though.
Trade him and go for Bennell!
I reckon you'll find Young, Moore and O'Shea will be gone.
Expect Jimmy Toumpas to be a Port player.
If we traded him this year it would be for premiership push, not fear.We won't trade Hartlett. He's a contracted player and I refuse to believe guys like KT and Hinkley would jump at shadows in fear of his impending free agency next year.

How do you think we will pay for Dixon? Draft picks. This way we would keep good ones. How would getting rid of Hartlett help any premiership push? He would be traded for draft picks.
When you have draft picks you can talk to every club, not just the one trying to poach your contracted player - and because the player is contracted your worst case scenario is you keep them...incentivises other clubs to work with you.The teams reported to be interested would all consider themselves in premiership windows and won't be handing back players in return.

Money talks mate....footballers unfortunately have a limited time in the game so gotta maximise their contractsHammers not stupid enough to go to Richmond.
God I hope so. Ill loose another favourite playerHammers not stupid enough to go to Richmond.
Actually they are all my favourite xD I need to stop saying that. For a $750k player, you'd expect Richmond's 2015 & 2016 first roundersHartlett to Richmond for their first and second round picks.
