hi to all. firstly, well done on the win yesterday. good to see two of melbournes REAL clubs going at it in a decent standard game. we'll get you next time, hopefully.

but what i relly want to guage is the Richmond fans feelings on the supposed jumper clash issue with essendon. i've seen these sides play each other since the late 1970's, and have never had a problem. but the clash jumpers makes essendon look like red smarties with chocolate squeezing out, and richmond don't get to keep their sash at all. the whole thing is bulltish, and if most fans agree, we need to find a way to get our game back.

how do tige's fans feel? some clubs seem ambivalent about it, but they are the ones who have been through multiple jumper designs already.

im not a big fan of clash strips, It irked me that for a fortnight every pic of a tiger in the paper was in that horrid heritage jumper, white shorts is enough for me

If I was a bombers supporter I'd prefer something different ... that jumper looks like a tacky rip off you'd find at the Carribean Gardens or a similar market.

Both clubs have lovely vivid jumpers with the tiger yellow and bomber red standing out against the black. Forget clash and let the clubs wear their jumpers.

Kids brought up on the 'coolness' of Soccer will be all for alternate strips.
Adults who grew up in the era where Soccer was definitely not cool, or who have regular 20/20 vision don't see what the fuss is all about.
