Pretty poor form by the AFL website calling him Luke Young but great news for Crows and Luke Brown.

Was a crucial period that blew the game away for Adelaide in the spate of 5 minutes after his injuries. Was doing a great job on Davey and then all of a sudden once Brown goes off he kicks a few crucial goals along with Howlett. Good shutdown role.

Good to hear he's okay and will likely come up for the next match.
After watching him in the pre-season and Friday night, I'm now understanding Nathan Basset's call that Brown will play 200+ AFL games.

Great start by the young lad. He looked seasoned under pressure. Hopefully he will be a long term option. I wouldnt even mind seeing him at half back if we can find another defender to play on the small forwards.

Would not be good if he and Smith missed games. It's sad that these two young guys are two of the most composed in our backlines and are actually good at defending.

I don't know but I just don't see it yet with this kid.

Don't drop him as we really need to persevere with him as a young defender as he needs to play the next 10 to 15 matches to get a good understanding of the requirements to play AFL footy.

Hopefully in my eyes he can show something soon but I have faith in Sando and Fred Bassett that he's a good player. Just don't see it yet.

I really like the away he sticks at his defensive tasks, makes good decisions and executes well. Great traits for a developing backman. Far more composed than Dogga was at the same age and stage of development... bodes very well for the future.

I believe that Luke Thompson and Luke Brown are our two defenders of the future to join Talia and Shaw. Brown has shown some great signs in the PS and Friday night, real defensive tenacity and intelligence.
