if i pick up tonight with the line "I wanna put my ace in your watermelon" will that be enough to make me eagles number 1 ticketholder next season??

I'm getting worried.
You'd think the the Shue would be a 'shue' in for a rising star nomination.
27 disposals, 3 goals and 146 SC points is pretty much impossible to look past.
BUT. The Vic's could easily go for Tapscott following 2 strong games including a B.O.G for a losing Melbourne side this week after being narrowly pipped by Heppell for the round 1 nom. Or they may go with the son-of-a-gun Libba junior following a 28 disposal game.
Shuey had the best game. But I've got a really bad feeling he won't get the nod. I think I'm gonna be really pissed off come Tuesday afternoon.
Just preparing you.
If the judges take into consideration DT/SC scores in deciding who to nominate then they should just hand over the responsibility to the main board of BigFooty...
Why, what does the main board say? Libber was in a careering away, lead from the front all the way win. Shuey's was 3 goals, 27 possies in a tighter (shouldn't have been but was) contest.

BOG on the weekend was Shuey or Embley. I don't need to know exactly how many possessions each had or their clearance numbers or their efficiency or whatever this year's favourite stat is - I watched the game.
Nothing to do with Shuey vs Liberatore specifically, but each week there is 'Player X got 85 in DT' vs 'Player Y got 90 in SC' etc.
Fantasy sports have ruined people's abilities to actually judge players on what they see with their own eyes. BOG on the weekend was Shuey or Embley. I don't need to know exactly how many possessions each had or their clearance numbers or their efficiency or whatever this year's favourite stat is - I watched the game.
/mini rant.![]()
I doubt anyone on the panel actually watched the entire game...
Shane Crawford was responsible for it but probably watched the highlight package and read notes prepared by someone else.

Highly doubt he watched any of it. He wasn't looking forward to the game, he said that himself, and later when they were previewing the WB v BL game he gave his tip for the Syd v Ess game, was too busy reading the paper to notice what they were actually talking about. Ah, that's where he got the best players from, of course.![]()
Do not understand how these blokes can get paid to do what they do
We were such long odds as we hadn't beaten Port at AAMI in 13 freaking years. Considering we play there pretty much every year, that was a shocking record....
Was anyone surprised he won the ace in the watermelon comp at the club, as per the Eaglevision show today?![]()
