After having a bit of a think about this, this could well be the making of our season and of our club.
The players are going to band together behind the coach and behind the game plan. I think they will finally realise the sort of commitment that is required to win a game of football, especially against good teams, and will stop taking the piss.
We heard all that talk about "buying in" during the pre season. I think the players did that as far as training hard and working hard goes, but haven't seen anything yet to suggest they have bought in with on field action.
We're now at the stage where the players have to put it all on the table, it's time to walk the walk.
Reminds me of that whoopie Goldberg movie, 'Eddie' where she Slavs off the coach so much he says well you do it. Then she realizes the team is full of highly paid pampered brats who won't put in the hard work and focus on outside interests.
