Don't waste your time. I've seen reviews elsewhere, overwhelmingly negative and arguably the worst madden ever

On my shortlist of games that I'm considering for PS4 launch.

Skipped last years so want the one of the year we were the champs. Hopefully it's not a dud.

ANd here I thought Madden 07 (ps2) was the best ever!
(Though, Madden 07 (xbox360) was shit)

Haven't played these for a while. I use to love them, but changed to getting NBA 2k series. I am tossing up between this and NBA for next gen. Not sounding promising.

I cant see much wrong with the demo. For me last years game was easily the best and this years seems to have just consolidated on that. The physics have been cleaned up. Good additions to career mode. Madden demos have always been bare boned.
Most of the complaints i have seen have been to do with the zoomed out camera and the run game being overpowered, and that may be to do with showing off the new precision moves in the run game. Judging any game from a demo is always a bad idea. Although ill be trading the ps3 version in the minute the ps4 version is available.

Anyone know when the season pass early access starts for this in Australia (or U.S.)

There is an update available launch day (and for those getting
Early access) to fix vanishing players. I still haven't seen any myself yet!?

which is an absolute joke even by EA standards, that should be fix before the Alpha version is done. the fact that it was in a demo is unbelievable. but everything felt under developed, i dont know if i will even get the PS4 version. and NCAA is now miles ahead in the game market.

I played the demo and I didn't think it was bad at all.

I didn't cop any invisible players.

The only thing I noticed was that my running game felt really slow.

And I suck at reading the defender during the read option plays

Yeah ive been playing the early access today and found it a slight step above last year in most areas. Most reviews from the big guns have given it good marks and most have said its the best one yet.
The usual gripe about it being a glorified roster update (which i never agree with) may have more merit than usual this year though the additions i think are in the few areas that needed it. Plus we are getting a dolled up next gen version before xmas.

Oh and no more invisible players

thank you Season Ticket, you just saved me $80 my convincing me not to buy this crap game, i didnt like last year i thought they took another step back and this year they took a jump back. even bringing back owners mode wasnt good enough to save this game. back to NCAA for me. and wont pay full price for the PS4 version unless the ignite engine does what it says it can do. Anyone who didnt love last years game i recommend skipping this year. the VO work is worse than ever takes 5 mins to start hearing the same lines, and most players dont look like them selves, and coaches look worse. check out Arizona coach Bruce Arians he has no eyes it looks like he got punched in the face 100 times then had an allergic reaction and his face swells up.

only improvement was the use of coordinator cam from NCAA, but that also the graphics look more dated than ever.

Got this last thursday. Really enjoying it so far, already finished a season in Franchise mode. Haven't bought a Madden game since 09 though, so not sure how this one compares to the last couple of releases. Haven't had any glitches. Only thing I am unsure of is a couple of the free agents I signed in my first season (all 1 year deals) seem to have disappeared after their contract ran out. Currently in the off-season FA period but can't seem to find these guys anywhere.

Not an NFL fan but picked up this knowing bugger all about NFL.

Created an undrafted HB and put him on the Miami Dolphins as they had my guy 2 on their top players depth chart.

As I know nothing about NFL, what typically is a good rushing yards average?

Also the concept of relocating teams is pretty cool.

If you can average 4.5 yards per rush. 80 yards per game and get over 1000-1200 yards a season you are ok....
Having said that, those are real life stats, in my connected franchise my RB is about 5.8 yards per rush and 115 yards a game
