I would have liked Mainoo to go out on loan and play quite a bit, big wraps on him if ETH wants him around.

The thing about ETH that I love he isn’t afraid of giving the kids a run in the PL like a certain someone we use to know.

Feels like the Hojlund deal is nearly there, and Amrabat probably happens about an hour after either McTom or Fred are sold.

I don't want to jinx anything but the club is doing much better this summer. We would all like things wrapped up quicker, but signing Onana, Mount, Hojlund and Amrabat (and probably that other keeper) is a good window.

And more importantly getting rid of so many players that aren't needed - De Gea, Jones, Elanaga, Telles, with DvB, Bailley, Fred, McTom and Henderson all going soon too.

He's an exciting prospect and looks to have all the tools needed to develop into a top striker. He does still look very raw though so I'd caution the fans who are expecting him to be leading the line next year, this is a signing for the long term.

I'm sure this will be unpopular but I would still expect Martial to be starting over him this season. However we all know Martial is made of glass so we may end up relying on this kid to lead the line.

Re: Martial - EtH made a comment late last season that he "needs to make himself available more".

I'd say his cards are marked, and he will only be used as a last resort. And EtH agrees with most fans that he's a soft campaigner who is just cashing his cheque. Imagine what blokes like Martinez and Bruno think of him.
