I definitely wasn't paying attention last time then if he did say that.

Not sure that is been said, but it does make a difference to who lives & dies

Are you for real? Can you let me know about this via a PM? I wanted to square everything away before doing the final mission.

Now some people will die in ME3 because I wanted to complete a few of the quests before I hit up the main final one in ME2? What lunacy is this!

We're talking ME2 here. Me3 has no time constraints

Oh I think I know what you're talking about now.

Just in case..
I remember now that I had Kelly Chambers and the rest of the crewmen die, and only Doctor Chakwas survived (along with my teammates). So if I start the mission straight away I'm guessing those people will all survive then?

Oh. I thought you meant that if you take a long time doing side-missions before the IFF mission in ME2, characters in ME3 will die or live because of it.

That would be... odd. And anger-inducing. Glad it's not the case.

That's it.

Instead of Kelly it's one of the ppl from colony world where Ashley was that you see die

Non spoiler tip, once you get to the IFF mission the game takes time into consideration. Spend too long on side missions from that point and you get a different outcome.

^ yes, after you do the IFF mission and the subsequent events... you can only complete the Squad "Loyalty" side missions without it impacting things later in the game. If you complete other side-missions afterwards then it impacts the game later.

Wasn't aware of that. You 100% sure?

Might get the IFF now then and finish up with Garrus' and Tali's loyalty side missions. Mix things up a bit.

The Shephard indoctrination theory makes a lot of sense.

Get the feeling that EA forced Bioware to hold back the real ending for an expansion pack, as it really makes sense that Shephard was indoctrinated but we didnt see the complete ending.

You're not very good at the whole
this thing
are you?

Indoctrination theory isn't a spoiler, it isn't part of the official storyline, just a fan theory as to what the ending might mean.

I've very hesitant to believe that Sherpard after all this time has been indoctrinated. Just seems to be a big middle finger to those who have been devoted to the series since it first came out

Not sure if I need spoiler tags but...

For those who have doubts about the indoctrination theory, watch this video. The evidence provided is very solid and the video is really well made.

Apparently BIG announcement coming up at PAX which starts April 6. Most likely announcing ending DLC.

For what it's worth I hope they don't change the ending, I started reading the BioWare forums and at first I was understanding of their rage, but now they just keep getting more pompous, more pretentious and look like they're feeling more and more entitled and they just come off as a bunch of arrognat whiners.

I'm in favor of what some people have suggested, and what looks likely to happen, in which they leave the ending as it is but come up with an epilogue DLC that provides answers to questions left unanswered. Also helping Aria T'Loak retake Omega is the other likely DLC announced

Agreed, would much rather they do something like that than outright changing the ending.

Just finished ME2 wow! Can't wait to get into ME3

What are they going to do? Ret-con in some kind of Star Trek style transporter device and devise a back story to make it plausible for Joker to abandon his mates who he was clearly ready to die for? No epilogue is going to bring back meaning to every major decision in the trilogy. The only way to do that is to write a multiple of new endings dependent on your actual choices.

I'm sorry, but Bioware botched the ending beyond comprehension and the only way to rectify it is to kill it and write a bunch of new ones, something that was PROMISED in the first place.

In fact, here is that promise:

"This story arc is coming to an end with this game. That means the endings can be a lot more different. At this point we're taking into account so many decisions that you've made as a player and reflecting a lot of that stuff. It's not even in any way like the traditional game endings, where you can say how many endings there are or whether you got ending A, B, or C."

A,B and C is EXACTLY what we got... a second rate rip-off of Deus Ex 1. Forget about what you think about "entitled" gamers. Most of the poster's over on the Bioware forums are a bunch of ****ing socially inept wierdo's anyhow. Think about the quality of the ending and whether or not you would like one that actually makes sense. This isn't about entitlement, its about getting what was promised, and something that constitutes some kind of payoff for our emotional investment in these characters and the universe they inhabit.

Just finished ME2 wow! Can't wait to get into ME3

Well if you like ME2... ME3 takes it up another level and you'll be "WOWing" your way through the whole game!!! And unfortunately, as you've probably already read, that amazement will last right up until the final scenes.

Still don't let that be a put off... b/c for 30 hours (before the ending) ME3 has some of the most amazing action, cut-scenes, story lines and gaming to be experienced.
