It was a beautiful thought out theory and almost wish it was true.

But it left too much open to what would have happened

I think that's the romance of it because so many of us wanted there to be loose ends so badly so we could have another game. After banging on for so long about Saren, Illusive Man and indoctrination it just seems to fit so nicely if you take the destroy ending and get that quick little scene under the rubble. DA: Inquisition had a way to tie in your hero from DA: Origins if you made the right decisions at the war table and it would be pretty neat if there was something similar in ME: Andromeda to settle it once and for all. Doesn't have to be Shepard, even just a message from Earth or something.

Depends when they set Andromeda. The trailer seems to hint between ME2 and ME3

I thought it was hinting after ME3? I might need to go watch it again but from memory wasn't there a patch on a uniform to suggest that an 'ark' was sent from Milky Way to Andromeda as a last ditch to preserve biological life during the Reaper invasion?

Apparently the character we see isn't the player character.

It would be cool if it was an ark and they can avoid making 1 particular ending cannon

Yes and no. It was a Reaper construct to make it the head of all galactic government and importance. When really its a mass relay to dark space so when the Reapers come in via 1 Reaper staying back and deciding it is feeding time, they take over the Citadel with a big surprise attack and have all the information of everything in the current cycle as well as killed the top government officials

At the 1:31 mark? I think that might be man made and is what we are sent to Andromeda in but we use the Tempest to fly around in. Looks like the Tempest can land on planets too

you would think, but the series has history of going with exclusive content deals.
