Two evergreen, premiership veterans that I can't split. Boyd's 2016 was far superior but in previous years I'd probably have picked McVeigh.

McVeigh is a premiership captain and was great in that game, but Boyd has been more consistent for longer.

McVeigh finished. Selfish for him to have played the GF as was terribly out of form and or not fit.

A year or two ago McVeigh may have gotten the nod, but to manage another AA selection at his age and to be one of our most important players is outstanding for Matty

What impresses me most about Boyd was the fact he was a clearance machine with questionable disposal (probably justified given the position)and has somehow reinvented himself as a class HBF.
