You think Silvagni was a multi-faceted ‘attacking’ defender running off the backline? Lloyd did play on both of them at the very least. Ok Silvagni had that versatility but he also had the opportunity to do it. If Scarlett got chucked forward for a period who knows what he would have done. Doubtful he would have been as good a forward as Silvagni was when he spent time there but no one will know, will they. I doubt Silvagni would have been the attacking weapon off the backline that Scarlett was. But he also never got that chance either.
I did not say this at all. I am saying SOS was a far more talented footballer. Either you see it or you don't, there will be no convincing those that don't.
