You obviously think Johncock is more consistent and that is fine. Personally I think his form has really dropped since '07.
Mattner was third in the Swans B&F last year and I believe has played better footy at the Swans that he did at the Crows.

Don't watch the Swans, so I can only judge on their time at the Crows. At the Crows, Mattner was one of the worst players in the AFL. Johncock by quite a bit.
mattner plays more of a link up role as far as i can see whereas Johncock wins a higher percentage of disputed and loose ball at ground level inside D50.
deffinitely agree that mattner is playing far better footy at the swans now and generally looks a lot more composed and makes better decisions than at the crows

Anytime Mattner gets the ball he runs to the left. Couldnt coach that out of him, opponents just ran to his left and he caught too often. Hence he was traded. Still does it now I notices on weekend.
