Bad luck guys maybe next time.
Twice during the game your team had me worried; 1st being the last 10 mins or so of the 2nd quarter when we couldn't clear our defense and you guys kept peppering the goals, during that time you seemed to man up on us all over the ground and we had nowhere to go. 2nd was during the last quarter after you guys kicked 3 in a row.
I read other posts suggesting dropping Carey, but I think you should leave him in. Instead I think they should leave Stevens at CHF and continue to play through him as though Carey wasn't playing. I mentioned in a pre-game post that I thought the Crows would look for Carey too much and that is what they did. Crows should continue to play through Stevens and just let Carey go where he wants and ease back into the game.
I think you defense (and squad) seems to be lacking a small defender who can match up on smaller fast forwards. I think Milne cut you guys up the other week, and Wangas and the Burgoynes have always caused you guys trouble. Johnkock is good but does he really stop his opponent?
All the best for the rest of the season.
