MCG/Etihad vs Home Grounds...

Had a discussion recently with a mate. He prefers going to the MCG for games (Tigers fan,) so he can basically always be assured a ticket. He likes the 50k+ crowds.

I, on the other hand, preferred the intimate setting of Victoria Park. Being surrounded by only Pies fans was amazing when we won. When we lost it wasn't a happy place... but I preferred it.

So the question is... do you prefer the way Melbourne footy is structured now with almost every game at the MCG/Etihad OR do you miss the old days of having dedicated small home grounds?

Back to home grounds would be the best. Match of the Round to be schelduled at the MCG and no issue with Friday Nights during the middle of winter to all be at Ethiad.

Finals should be at a clubs home ground if they finish higher at the moment its a joke Sydney Geelong and even Ethiad tenants can finish higher and be given an away game.
