on both feetBased on that video; Ziebell looks like a massive kick and Sidebottom looks incredibly good up forward for a midfielder (seems to read the play very well).

What's the chance that Yarran will slip to our second pick?
I think we have enough Small Forwards IMO...
Even though they have plenty [and plenty] of talent I believe we have that spot covered by many players.
I think we'll have to pass on Yarran this year, like we unfortunatly did with Rioli last year.
Yarran is definitely talented. But I think that with Davey and Jetta cementing a spot in our best 22 next year, we have enough of these types of players.
He'll be a great player no doubt, but realistically Hurley and Ziebell, one of the two look like coming to Essendon in 2009.
What's the chance that Yarran will slip to our second pick? not likely.
We re-signed Davey a few weeks ago.
Thats great we signed him but I hope we are not looking at a swap. We might even take Aaron of them if the brothers want to be together

I have brought it up before, a young ruckmen in the AFLQ, Broc Mccauley, is only 20, gave up soccer to focus on the promising game of AFL, has been playing with one of the best teams in that competition, Southport Sharks, is a very prominsing ruckmen, 200+ cm, and has so much room for improvement, I am trying to do some research into how he went this year, and from all the match reports and so forth, he has been doing, extremely well for himself, would be a superb pickup i feel, as he is young, raw, and plenty of room to improve.
thoughts..........??
Broc McCauley-
Age: 20
If Broc was ever going to be picked up it was going to be last year and he didn't.
I can't see him getting picked up to be honest but the Gold Coast team coming in soon might take a punt on him but besides them, I don't think any other club would think highly of him.
Why?
Because last year he was basically turned into a footballer instead of a half-footballer before then and wasn't taken.
Have you seen him play?
I haven't seen him live, no. But I have seen footage of him playing in Queensland plus plenty of draft profiles on the side, from Bomberblitz a while back (which I don't go to anymore) and another forum who's name just escapes me, we were talking about him as well.

So any development this year should be disregarded?
Disregarded? Clearly not. He's past the normal draftee age that's around eighteen by a few years and really had his breakout season last year and was passed on. If anyone really wanted him they would've grabbed him last year and would've rathered they'd put work into him from themselves rather than let one of the Queensland teams teach him the tricks of rucking, positioning, etc because they generally don't know all the ins and outs of AFL footy.
