Fairly sure Grigg was told today he wont be offered a contract for 2017.
No surprise as obviously on the outer since his off field incident.

There were previous rumours port may be interested...

I'm not sure what he adds to them really. He will be a handy pickup for Norwood.

I reckon he will win the Magarey if he plays at Norwood next year.

A plodder in the Gowans, Clayson, Kirkwood mould. Will have a great SANFL career, but not good enough for the big time.

I'm a fan. He ha a run of 6 games under Walshy. Campo didn't give him another chance after the trampoline incident. This year he was a victim of a great injury list. If we had some injuries he would have played. Had a good sanfl year.

Sorry to intrude, but Barlow would be a massive get for your mob, the only reason he was delisted by the Dockers was due to our surplus of inside midfielders who are all notably younger. If we were contending for a premiership, it's a sure thing that we would've kept Barlow on our list.

He got dropped Round 8 because he was being played out of position (half forward), and in response to being dropped to the WAFL he gathered 39 disposals and took 12 marks in his first game for Peel, then the next week later gathered 44 disposals and kicked 3 goals in a game winning performance. He also performs exceptionally well against Port Adelaide, with the last time we played them he gathered 43 disposals, made 8 tackles, kicked 2 match winning goals while keeping Gray to 18 disposals and 0 goals.

If it's only costing coin and a list spot, then you'd be mad to pass up a player like Barlow, especially when your teams weakness is midfield depth.

We would be out of our cotton picking minds if we didn't acquire Barlow, as he can play as an accumulater or a tagger. Lyon ruined part of his season just gone by trying to play him as a forward. Once he went back on the ball he once again showed what a force he can be.

To me it's a very simple equation, if given the opportunity.

Barlow or Grigg?

Bye bye Grigg!!

I don't want them on our list.

Neither thanks

More importantly, when selecting a 22, pushing Thommo back a spot is a massive plus for our 22. Pushing Grigg back a depth spot would be immaterial.

I like this part. I really like this part.

Maybe we've censored young Justin ?? I sure hope so.
It's sensible.

That way if Barlow chooses a club in the Keilor & Districts Suburban League instead of us we aren't left with egg on our face again

"Well we had our view on what he was worth, and decided that the last pick in the draft that the AFL wanted us to use on selecting him would have been irresponsible list management".
