we're going to have to seek clarification on the voting scheme, but four or five coaches rate a players game from 0-5 I believe and those numbers added together become the votes. So three is not a pass. When Mackay polls 3 the BOG is getting 15+ more often than not. Three probably means at least one coach thinks he would have been better off staying at home.3 is not setting the bar low. 3 means that the majority of the coaches thought that the player "played his role, beat his man". In other words, they were happy with the job the player did. In terms of school grades, it's a C. Anything less than 3 votes is a fail.
