The structures were shit, but that has nothing to do with Voss. People are seriously overestimating his role at the club.

Ok. So if Gray, Ebert and Hartlett were all better than Boak, which they were, and our midfield was pathetic, then what does that make your assessment of Boak's game.

All I said was that he clearly wasn't in our best players and I am not sure who in their right mind could assess it otherwise.
There were seven midfielders on the ground more effective than him in that match.

Honestly people are going to start blaming him for Ebola and the Great Depression.

It's a learning role, for both him and the team. I would love to see how ruthless he is behind closed doors and if he holds players accountable or if Hinkley is the disciplinary man. But today we didn't lose because our midfield wasn't up to scratch! No one was moving when we won the footy and our run and gun game was non existent! If I am pointing the finger at anyone I'm more directed at Burgess and potentially cooking us! His 3 year plan may be great on paper, but upping the Ante this year may take 9-12 months to be able to hold, sustain and play at the required level. Our Forward structure was deplorable and our riskless approach to bringing the ball forward was gut wrenching.

I seen that too whenever i see coaches doing things like that the alarm bells start ringing, i remember Tim watson taking the saints back to school with white boards before he was shafted. Will never forget M Williams being slapped down by the Port hierarchy when he was coaching a star studded team with his stupid white board capers. IMO the jury is still out on Voss something is wrong with this side atm and has to be fixed very quickly.

Midfield manager. Josh Carr is the midfield coach which is the assistant coach role.
Voss' role isn't as a coach so much as assisting the midfielders' development and meetings between them etc.

Let's not sugarcoat it. We got smashed off the park in the midfield. We've always wanted that extra tall in the forward line but it looks like it has come at the expense of midfield presence.
And on top of that we seem to not be as fit as last year. But I'm still hoping that were just out of form and we will click sooner than later.
