Michael Voss's Performance - Gold Logie ?

Firstly, I must say I don't like Michael Voss.
I find him to be an arrogant, smug, supercilious egotist, and I hope he fails as an AFL coach. So my take on his performance last night may be biased. But what was your take on his overacted performance with his tribute to Robert Harvey. Did he think he was the lead in a Shakespearan melodrama or what. I thought I was watching King Lear for a second or two.
What was he thinking? Was he trying to win the Gold Logie?
I found his over the top effort a distraction to the tribute to Harvey who is a true champion.
I truely hope Brisbane is destined to flounder on the bottom of the ladder under his coaching.
I would lik to hear the boards thoughts.

It basically bottled for me, why i think Voss is a complete ****stain. The guy couldn't have given a shit about Harvey but put on an absolute performance.

i was embarressed for the both of us. i think harvey was as well. Add to that the long ads, the one hour gap between the red carpet and the start, the annoying opening with kate cebrano and that irrelevently long section about grass roots footy AND the round 2/1 debacle, AND bartel not winning or even getting close. Ok i'm done. Very disapointing couple of hours.

Liked Voss as a player, don't mind him as a commentator, better than many of the mugs doing the rounds. As for coaching, we'll see ... but that Harvey thing I no like. What he said was OK, but the theatrics ... my my.

After seeing his speech i definitely think we dodged a bullet when he took the Brisbane job.

Next year, he will probably address his players at 3/4 time in games that they are losing by saying "When i was playing AFL....."

Lol, I could picture him saying that. He is a horrible speaker and was embarassing to watch. I wanted to turn the T.V off but couldn't look away.

What does any of that have to do with Voss making an arse of himself on national television?

I'm looking forward to more of the same from him next year, minus the dinner suit and kenny G sax solo.
