Edwards is a KPF/Ruck. He is mostly a forward.Looks like we're backing the Larkey - Combden forward line........... whenever it eventuates.
yeah and we took Hosie when he was killing the sanfl and he was pretty vanilla. EDIT what HoF posted while i was typing...Callow has the most contested marks in the sanfl and is still 18. I'd say his rate of improvement has been great. We wouldn't have 1 player of our ressies do half that? Maybe Matt mcguiness is better in your opinion??
Too much risk still? No Stengle for any club is interesting.
Lachie Hosie was and still is the best goalkicker in SANFL but that doesn't mean a thing at the top level. Every AFL recruiting team but Hawthorn's feels the same way about Callow.
Either a KPF is getting traded in or we’re targeting one in the draftLooks like we're backing the Larkey - Combden forward line........... whenever it eventuates.
l have no doubt he will bring home the bacon....I haven't seen much of Ham, sounds okay though.
Yeh, how many times has that happened in the past 30 years.Chris Grant was taken, at pick 105.
Everyone else must've known that he'd turn out to be a sh*t campaigner.
the club made it pretty clear they were going for talent, not plugging holes, so presumably Charlie meets the talent criteriaPosters watch a 2 minute highlights video of Callows best game and think they’re more clued on then Clayton & Finnegan.
I recall a similar melt when we took Lazzaro, people don’t learn.
Hawthorn don't seem to be operating at full capacity at the moment. The whole Newcombe contract thing was bizarre.Even Hawthorn had a real good look at him pre-season and passed.
That was my read on him for a while and I was surprised by how many wanted him. I always thought he was a tad limited, like Menedue.Blokes cooked mate

Yes and no. Hasn't been long enough for a major change in character. But he didn't exactly set the world alight when he was playing AFL footy.Too much risk still?
Poor old Ned Moyle. One week he's pushing around neighborhood bean poles, next week, say hello to Sean Darcy & Rory Lobb.

Youre complaining we didnt pick a player youve never seen before and want because of one stat line. Id suggest if anyone should just cop it on the chin, its the bloke pissing and moaning about pick 16 in a mid season draftStop being the smartarse of the group. Just cop it on the chin

Surely the media team runs with thatDredges up the age old question:
Team Edwards or Team Jacobs?
It's all about opportunity.
This
It's all about opportunity.
This bullshit about clubs knowing things, hence overlooking certain players, is rhubarb.
