My top ten would go something like this:
1. Carl - Bryce Gibbs - Already confirmed
2. Ess - Lachlan Hansen - Hard to pick between him and Gumby, but Kelper Bradley doesn't look the goods.
3. Kang - Scott Gumbleton - Will complement Thompson in the foward line
4. Bris - Selwood - Will look to replace Voss, and some other aging legs with Selwood.
5. Port - Luenberger - Won't slip as out of the top 6 and Port will be estatic with him.
6. Haw - Thorp - Will look to bolster their backline. Thorp is the player for them.
7. Geel - Jetta - I think that Cats fans should be excited - Varcoe and Jetta in the same team
8. Coll - Hislop - Bit of a surprise but the Pies have gone for outside midfielders in past drafts and will be very happy with Tom Hislop.
9. StK - N. Brown - Surprise but the Saint's have an aging backline - Brown would be the perfect replacement
10. Coll - Armitage - Again will look to inject some speed and skill into the midfield, with all the other picks to be used on ruckmen and KPPs.

1 carl Gibbs apparently done.

2 ess Hansen. Plenty of Rucks. Need both midfield and kpp but Hansen seems to fit the quality/need balance best.

3. kang Thorp. They were reluctant to play both Rocca and Thomson (2 power forwards) together. While Gumbleton is more mobile than Rocca, he will develop as power forward type. A running mobile pavelich type is a better fit.

4.Brisb Connors. Plenty of Rucks. Brown, Clarke, Merret, Bradshaw. Good Kpp can get more later and in Rookie. Need midfielders. Everyone says Selwood or Proud. I like Connors. Fast, strong, durable, courageos, superb mark, superb kick, good handball, good handass, good vision.

5. Port Gumbleton. Plenty of rucks. Need a good inside middfielder but can get a Bird/Urqhart/Hislop later. Willets is not good enough to be a dominant forward, Gumbleton is.

6. Hawks Jetta. They need a full back but they have indicated what they are willing to pay for one. Thornton was worth 2 second round picks to them and that is where they will look for a full back (round 2). They Have 3 to 4 ruck options. What they are lacking is a fast, goal kicking midfielder/forward. Muston may fit the bill, but they need at least 1 more.

7. Geel Leunberger. First Hawkins now Leunberger - bloody hell. Need a fast midfielder, but an O'keefe Boak will be available later. Leunberger will come online just as King is about to retire.

8. Coll Houli. Was looking at a replay of Metro Vs WA. Super impressive. Ran all day. Draft camp shows he's reasonably fast. Great mark for his height. Great kick, great hands, good vision, disciplined, courageous.

9. St K. Collard. Their midfield is not quick enough and doesn't kick enough goals.

10. Coll Sellar. Too good not to take here. Probably best suited as a power forward. Will send T.Cloke to CHB. where he is better suited in my opinion.

11. Bulldogs Selwood. Need a replacement for West. I know everyone likes him, but he is not fast and is not a good kick and judgment and ball winning may not be enough at AFL (McGough?) and that's why I have him Sliding.

12. Melb N. Brown. Neitz is almost gone and Brown is the best available.

13. Rich Benjamin tallish mid, super athletic. The Richmond template.

14. Adel Armitage. Tough midfielder. Edwards and Roo are getting on.

15. Swans Proud. Best available.

16 WC Reiwoldt. Reasonably mobile. Accurate Kick. Superglue hands. With WC delivery, he doesn't need to be super quick. A meter break and you won't knock it out of his hands.

17. Carl O'brien. Good running defender + midfield rotation.
18. Ess Boak. Essendon desperatel needs speedy midfielders.
19. Carl Allen. Potentially excellent kpp. The rest of their picks will be midfielders and rucks.

20. Ess. O'keef. Still need speedy midfielder.

21. Kangas S Edwards. Adds speed and athleticism to their midfield.

22. Bris. Djerkurra. Fast, strong, skilled inside midfielder. A bit small is the only downside.

23. Port. Hislop Need a good inside midfielder.

24. Hawks. McKenzie. The full back they wanted.

25. Geelong. Midfielder.Tim Houlihan reasonable skillas and athleticism.

26. Richmond. Grigg. Tall Richmond midfielder.

27 St K. Jacobs . They need a ruck and their new coach appreciates rucks.

28. Coll G. Urqhart. All Australian inside midfielder. Great hands, great vision, reasonable kick, so so speed.

29. WC. Morton. Reasonable utility. Local. They got his brother.

30. Melb M. Brown. Now they have 3 browns (only 2 are related).

31. Freo. R. Petterd.

32. Adelaide. G. Moss. A good though small inside midfielder.

33. Hawks. Brad ********

34. Brisbane. C. Dawes. Good Kpp forward. No reason he shouldn't make a good full back.

14. Adel Armitage. Tough midfielder. Edwards and Roo are getting on.

32. Adelaide. G. Moss. A good though small inside midfielder.
One of these might be on the money, but not both.

Adelaide will be taking 3-4 KPPs in this draft, out of five possible selections (though one may be reserved for the PSD). At least one, if not both, of Adelaide's first two selections will be used on a KPP. Definitely not both used on midfielders.
