According to Wikipedia he played for South Adelaide in the SANFL for half of 2012 before moving to Cranbourne in a league I don't know. Was a funny selection in retrospect as he didn't even make the final SA U18 team just the squad.

My work mate spoke with him. He confessed that he was lazy and wasted his talent.

They are allowed to have a life you know.

You're welcome ;)

Saw him at southbound in busselton this weekend passed, no strapping or anything on the knee and looking pretty fit, hope this year is kind to him!

I see him rather regularly at uni and he never seemed to wear any strapping even after his first injury, I wouldn't read too much into it but obviously I hope he is indeed past the worst of his rehab.

First time I've seen Mora doing a full training session since this time last year. It must be almost a year since his last injury. This is a very good sign as he is even doing some of the contact stuff.

Thanks Harry. Very pleased to hear this.

Only thing stopping Mora from living up to the #4 draft selection is the previously dicky knee.
He's a ferociously determined and intelligent character with great talent;will not surprise me if we see an improved Mora in many areas once his fitness and confidence align.

Not really. Gunston accuracy is astonishing, but i wouldn't be putting money on Mora kicking for goal. Mayne is a closer like for like to Gunston for a few reasons.

Not saying he is the identical player to Gunston but, he is similar in stature, fast, can kick 50 -60 and can catch it.
Logically given our current dearth of midfield talent, I can see him playing forward. He could seriously mess with the opposition match-up wise. Where else would you put him? who would you drop out of the 22 given we have Sutty, Neale and Shero all on the borderline for midfield spots?

Once fit, he will be best 22, easily
Is he? Is he really? Think about it. He isn't, one of the most overrated players by our fans, he wouldn't make my 25. That's not saying he's bad, our team at the moment is very good, and he frankly is unproven. The way some fans carry on about him you'd think he was Garry Ablett, when in reality he is only rated so highly due to sentiment rather than actual playing ability.

Rated highly due to only playing a small amount of games but showing lots of potential.
Nothing to do with sentiment.

Its the usual young guy plays ok shows some great potential but cant yet put it all together due to inexperience.
The longer he is away, the better they think he was and hype him up too much.

He is still very inexperienced at AFL level, he is basicly still a rookie and wont feel comfortable at AFL level yet.
He will be required to earn a spot through WAFL form imo.

I rate him highly.
A Goodes type player and even looks like him.
I hope he can get around 10 AFL games
Then next year I hope to see him become a regular player.

In his first year he showed enourmous talent IMO. I have seen very few first year players being able to run away from congestion and break tackles like he could. I dont know how you could say enthusiasm for him coming back has more to do with sentiment than playing ability, Mora is one of the most talented youngsters I have seen in Freo colours. I cant wait to have him back.

Stupid to say he is highly rated because of sentiment. Beast of a player. Like Sherrif said, freakish ability to break tackles and exit a clearance, good around goal too. Similar to Dustin Martin for mine. Was smashing the WAFL before he went down last time starting to show glimpses of what made him special.

Cutting diamond requires specialized knowledge, tools, equipment, and techniques because of its extreme difficulty.Mora probably hasn't played 2 dozen AFL games yet so ain't no sparkling faceted gem. While the cobblers are cobbling Ross the Master Diamond Cutter will ply his trade on the rough one from Harvey;spectacular partnership and the club has done everything possible to bring it to fruition. We'll see spectacular footy.

Mora is a hyped-up player on this board full of potential, however he is overrated. He is rated on what he hasn't shown, rather than what he has. He isnt a best 22 player, don't get me wrong he has talent, but I don't see him in the team, even though I'd love him back. I'm sure every Freo supporter would love to see him on the field next year, myself included, I'd love him back, however this want of having back on the field is leading to him being said to be best 22, when in reality it is just wanting him back out there. Effectively Mora is a second year player, and I think he needs to develop more to get into the team.
